update (30/09)
verified to work in 2.0/PL but dependencies have been updated! All recolour mods now require the new version of the material override mod. Please make sure you have this before using any recolour mods! Follow the instructions on that mod's page carefully; if you experience any issues even after making sure you have the material override installed correctly, please reach out.

That classic Night City dilemma: you go into your favourite clothing store looking for a new fit, but literally every pair of pants is made of synthcotton, or recycled PVC, or see-through neon rubber, or is covered in logos for Chromanticore, or whatever. Remember pants? Remember jeans? Pepperidge Farm remembers. And so does the Night City Denim Warehouse.

Masc V Jeans
- refitted mesh to remove weird gap between small of back and pants, removing "guy wearing a barrel held up by suspenders" effect
- recoloured; mostly regular denim, some leather
- stitches recoloured to match
- masc V only
- NOT compatible with refitted meshes for non-vanilla bodies. may clip with body mods. load beneath any other refits to get their mesh with my recolours, but the stitches won't match (and your butt will look weird)

Rogue Pants
- partially re-painted mlmask to better line up with mesh and to remove weird blurry lines
- recoloured; mostly regular denim, some leather
- fem V only
- recolours only; compatible with refitted meshes for non-vanilla bodies

Slimfits
- recoloured; some options based on unused mlsetups in game files
- for masc and fem V
- recolours only; compatible with refitted meshes for non-vanilla bodies

Straightcuts
- now rough denim with small leather accents rather than a half-and-half fake chaps situation
- stitches recoloured to match
- for masc and fem V
- masc version NOT compatible with refitted meshes for non-vanilla bodies. may clip with body mods. load beneath any other refits to get
their mesh with my recolours, but the stitches won't match. fem version compatible with refits.

Why aren't these archiveXL/atelier items??
gameplay reasons. I like finding random pairs of jeans in the street and putting them on.

I love aXL clothes, they're very handy and cool, but their primary utility is for people who don't care about looting items or finding them in the world organically--they're for people who wanna take cool pictures or have their V looking fresh from the very start of Act 1. For me, personally, I really like finding a cool jacket or whatever while I'm out doing gigs, and putting it on, and actually liking how it looks. To this end, my modding M.O. is to improve the clothes that are already in the game because those are the ones that I'm finding in random suitcases left beside bus benches. Maybe someday somebody will figure out how to do clothing mods that actually add new items to the loot table--in which case I will be all over that, immediately, but for now, This Is The Way.
