OK, so it's not something I did, for a second I thought it was just me with that issue. I'll keep the hair even if it doesn't get fixed, tho. I don't look at the back of my character's head much...
I was wondering will there be an update for 1.5 so the hair works on the new colors added? or just currently no doable with this hair? Because the hair just turns white when selecting any of the new colors.
well it always was hairstyle 1, i wouldn’t change it if i didn’t have a reason to do so
hairstyle 1 has hair dangle but it doesn’t have any hair bands, and i can’t replace something that is not there. hairstyle 19 has both static hair, dangle animations and a static hair band mesh.
either use version 1.0 or change your characters hairstyle with a save editor
No idea what im doing. I dont have a root folder, no idea where to put it. Nobody is any help, none of this makes sense. 1st time modding this. someone plz help.
root as a word commonly means the beginning of something, something at the base of something else. there is no folder called "root", instead what we commonly refer to as the "root folder" is where your game is installed.
in this mod's description i said: "Drag the archive folder into your "Cyberpunk 2077" root game folder, where you already have an archive folder" meaning "Drag the "archive" folder into the folder where your game is installed (which is commonly called "Cyberpunk 2077"), where you already have a folder called "archive""
most modders will upload the mods with the folder structure already present in the .zip you download, so in most cases just have to look around in the game folder until you find a matching folder name (in this case "archive") and then drag it next to the existing one
So basically, replace the already existing "archive" folder with the modded one? im using this mod to setup the Harley Quinn mod. What should i do if a mod (like this one) requires more than one archive to work properly? In total (including the pigtails part) needs 3 (as far as i know). It uses this mod, the original mod that uses the pigtails mod and one called "CP Texture Override Standalone.
Update: Figured it out. was just being stupid and looking at it wrong. sorry for the trouble/confusion. i feel bad now
also for clarity, you cant really "replace" a folder. what happens when you drag the archive folder next to the existing one is called "folder merging", because they both have the same name so the new contents get merged with the existing contents.
