If you feel that the vehicle is difficult to handle it may help to reduce the speed in the tweak. This truck isn't supposed to go fast but I still decided to give it substantial speed since people don't like slow things.
However, to reduce the speed just go to the tweak file located in r6/tweaks/bonk_ford_hennessey, open it with a text editor like notepad++ and reduce the EgineMaxTorque value (I found that the value 1100 fits very well and is also much more realistic)
Hi guys, I don't think I'll do any more updates, since I don't have time to deal with modding and games anymore. If there are any serious problems I'll try to fix them, until then I wish you all the best.
I'm running into a weird bug with the brakes. They only reduce speed by 10 km/h at a time, so I have to keep spamming the button. If I'm going 50 km/h, it slows to 40 km/h, but I need to press it again to hit 30 km/h. Basically with this epic looking monster of a car, there are no real brakes—just forward motion. Great philosophy for life, not so much for driving.
Any chance you could try fixing the first person view? Window has a weird filter over it that makes it pretty much unusable. Thanks for doing this regardless...really wish people would add more trucks.
I love the feeling of the weaponized one feeling like an actual tank. The biggest downside I just came across is that it's nigh unusable when fighting that one hostile Delamain. I even disabled all of my driving mods, and the guy just LOVES to wedge himself underneath you so you can't use the weapons on him.
This thing is SO FUN if you also use the Car mod shop mod, hahaa! Beast aint got s#*! on this thing.
Not related but it would be awesome if someone figured out how to weaponize the Millitech behemoth and give it a stash, that is my fav big truck to boost and joyride around in. =)
Everything's fine, except for one thing. When I use it from inside the car, the windshield is very blurry and reflective. It makes the gameplay difficult. Is there any way to fix this?
Seems like the weaponized version casts a large shadow in the front of the vehicle, causing some weirdness in first person view. The window seems tinted (which can sometimes be pretty cool tbh) but at night first person can be pretty unusable.
Obviously this is easily remedied by just switching to third person at night, but then you gotta stare at whatever the hell that shadow is xD
Regardless, this is probably my favorite vehicle mod to date. You absolutely killed it and I truly appreciate the effort you put into this.
If you ever dive back into the Cyberpunk modding scene, a fast little TRX or Raptor would be a dream. Definitely won't get my hopes up but had to throw it in there just in case ;)
Won't keep my fingers crossed but it would definitely be one helluva surprise.
Also just noticed that the bug with the shadow/headlights in third person doesn't occur in the furthest third person view. Only seems to happen with all of the other views.

frontPreset:
maxBrakingTorque: 1500
tireLateralSlipEffectsMul: 2.3
backPreset:
maxBrakingTorque: 4000
tireLateralSlipEffectsMul: 2.5
far from perfect, but it feels less likely to spin out now, unless you push it :)
