I have to say, I've never really been a fan of reshades. Most do a few things I like and a lot of what I don't like. Your reshade is amazing! Instructions for installation are short, concise, and easy to understand. I saw a HUGE visual difference as soon as I enabled. Kudos to you for making something that is not only practical and efficient but visually enjoyable as well. Thank you for your efforts!

no, absolutely not! i'm just playing on a gtx without rtx myself. this works in every graphics mode, even low and gives everyone a better picture.

i'd wish to see some rtx-screenshots sometimes tho.

Thank you for uploading this. I used the preset for most of my previous playthrough of the game and I am still impressed by just how balanced it is. Granted, I did make a couple of small tweaks, but after trying nearly a dozen different ReShade presets here on Nexus, this was definitely the best in my opinion.

    Fantastic colors, shadows and lighting.

Theres no way this is compatible with another reshade is there? I use the DREDD reshade and really like it except it really brings out the green in the lighting, I was looking for a way to fix that.

When I load the preset, none of the shaders are activated, so there's no effect.

      Same.
Just have an endless list of unchecked checkboxes with names/descriptions I don't understand.

Does it reduce  the colour banding caused by light sources like the moon and  street lamps ?

no, it can't because this is just post processing. it's less obvious still.

There are a couple of deband shaders available. Did you try them and they didn't work?

    Nice reshade.
If someone finds it to oversharpen and oversaturated like me uncheck DPX, Unsharp and Ambient Light. And there you go killiung the green.

unsharp doesnt do sharping. it eliminates that overglow from lights and is essential for image improvement. also makes distance fog better.

when it's to oversharp (i just can check and optimize it in 1080 due to my setup), people should deactivate "adaptive sharpen" and "clarity".

I am fine with the glow now that the dust has lifted. With your reshade i got rid of the blurry green and got clarity enhancements. Now the nights are visually exciting.
      Thank you!

That would be a huge hit for me considering I'm at 4K using the Ultra RT preset.

sorry but i really don't know. those are spheres i am not part of. i have my setup which gives me 30fps and around 1-3 frames lost in ultra without rtx. i'm fine with that and i think it just comes to what you are used to and what your preferences are. i'm playing games since i was a little child, i am 32 now and i am totally glad to get myself so much better picture for that few fps. at least, movies feel fluid with 24 fps.
but please, don't let us go down this rabbithole of a discussion.

i think everyone must think by themself if a enhancing of the visuals is worth a handful of fps. of course post processing doesnt comes for free.

but i'd be interested in seeing the visual performance of the reshade in 4k and rtx. saw it in 1080p and rtx a version earlier and was glad that it does his job there too. but how about performing in higher resolutions i dont have any experiences.

      Ryzen5 3600/Radeon Rx 5700 XT/27' 1440p - 21fps, from 76fps to 55fps.

so, what seems to eat most fps is the Lut-Shader, which is working against the green tint.
you can turn it off and still have a better image.
maybe i can achieve the colour correction with other, more lightweight effects in the future...

Unfortunately, this change did not had a major impact. Only 2fps were gained.

      NOTE
I did a clean install - ReShade v4.9.1 - and only selected the necessary files:
      - DPX.fx* / SweetFX
      - Unsharp.fx / FXShader
      - AmbientLight.fx / Legacy standard effects
      - Clarity.fx* / AstrayFX
      - PD80_02_Bonus_LUT_pack.fx / prod80-ReShade-Repository
      - PD80_03_Shadows_Midtones_Highlights.fx / prod80-ReShade-Repository
      - AdaptiveSharpen.fx / Legacy standard effects

*those exists in Legacy standard effects too, but I didn't selected; they get duplicated at the cost of 1fps - yeah, I know, an amazing number.

Screenshots look gorgeous. You're a hero for scraping away smudge and blur that seems to be in every new game these days.

      thanks a lot :>
yes, that is the basic intention of this reshade. it's a mutation of my good ol reliable i used for kingdom come (which really looks horrible in 720p) and gta5. in fact, if you check out 2.1 of respect reshade (/mods/29), you can use it in many games. i played tekken 7 and alien isolation with it... it is absolutely funky postprocession.
