Metro 2018 is now a part of Metro rE3worked. All future updates will be on that page!


Hey! Firstly, check out muad_'s Metro rE3worked, which adds an interior to the default metro train that players can ride in using keanuWheeze's Metro System. Metro 2018 wouldn't exist without Metro rE3worked. Nor would it exist without Metro System itself, so huge thanks to muad_ and keanuWheeze.

Metro 2018 changes the design of the default NCART train to one similar to the train seen in the Cyberpunk 2077 E3 2018 trailer. The interior is the same model as seen in the trailer - taken from the game's files and fixed up to be usable. Some modifications had to be made since the version of the model included with the game wasn't complete, however.
I also modeled a custom exterior for it, which is based on the default metro train and the one seen in Cyberpunk: Edgerunners. The whole design is kind of a mix between all the different versions we've seen.

Installation:

Place the contents of the archive in your Cyberpunk 2077 folder.

Consider backing up the train.lua file in "Cyberpunk 2077\bin\x64\plugins\cyber_engine_tweaks\mods\trainSystem\modules\classes" in case you want to uninstall Metro 2018. The custom train.lua adds the correct seating positions for this train mesh. It is modified from muad_'s custom train.lua file from his mod, so credit to him for creating those original seating positions.
