IF THE ITEM DISAPPEARED AFTER YOU UPDATED THIS, THIS IS COVERED IN THE DESCRIPTION:
Huge thanks to manavortex for his wiki tutorials that showed me how to finally create gendered preview icons. The icon on this item will now change depending on the player character's gender.
Before this, I used to make two item variants in the .yaml script to differentiate Male and Female icons. But thanks to this new method, I can go ahead and get rid of those. If anyone has this item disappear after updating, just use the console command below to add the item back into your inventory.
Never saw this until I tried it just now and I don't think this can be fixed. First off, this is NOT CAUSED BY THIS MOD. The shirt in this mod uses a base game model. I just tried putting on three different versions of these "popped-collar shirts" from the base game and drawing my gun. Every one of those caused the same collar issue. This seems to be an issue with the base game model itself.
Downloaded everything and even downgraded the game (2.0.1) and all the required mods and still doesn't appear in game, even with CET and inputting Game.AddToInventory("Items.FormalShirt_01_SpikeSpiegel",1) doesn't show up in my inventory. Do I need to downgrade to 2.0.0?
I have no idea what caused this at the time, but this mod works fine on my end right now in 2.1. These types of mods don't usually need to be updated when the game gets updated. If it's not showing up, there's something going on with ArchiveXL / TweakXL.
Make sure Material and Texture Override is installed. Due to a workaround I had to use to avoid meshing issues, it needs that mod to load the texture.
If you installed the REDmod version of THAT mod (not this mod), another user had problems with that particular mod not working due to REDmod issues - so try downloading the non-REDmod version of Material and Texture Override and using that.
The mod only includes the shirt and the jacket. The pants are a base game item. I think I linked it in the Description, but it's the only pair of blue Unless it's been changed by another mod, it should look like it does in the screenshots. Then again, maybe I didn't match the colour exactly - but either way, it should look like the pictures.
Hey, thanks for your work. Just curious about one thing, why still using material and texture override? wasn't supposed to be used when replacing actual game assets with new ones created by modders? (before archivexl was a thing).
The short answer is that I used a little workaround to avoid meshing issues. The item is new (ArchiveXL/TweakXL), but it still needs unused files from the game.
