Dear keanuWheeze. I love your mods. I am creating a Eyes CW MOD that is a homage to your MOD. I set the NVSupport tag to make my mod compatible with NV MOD, but it doesn't work. Is it possible to change the detection method for "NVSupport" tags? I would like you to detect "NVSupport" tag not only from clothing but also from EyesCW, so that it can be used in other Eyes CW MODs.
for example. function night:hasNVInstalled() local eyeCW = Game.GetScriptableSystemsContainer():Get("EquipmentSystem").GetItemsInArea(GetPlayer(), gamedataEquipmentArea.EyesCW) for _, itemID in pairs(eyeCW) do local cwItemData = Game.GetTransactionSystem():GetItemData(GetPlayer(), itemID) if tweaks.itemNames[cwItemData:GetID().id.value] ~= nil then return true end
-- detect "NVSupport" tag from EyesCW. if cwItemData:HasTag("NVSupport") then return true end
can we please get a version that Isn't dependent on the optics i have equipped. just looking for night vision on a hot key.
edit: the reason i ask is because I'm trying to use OP cyberware eyes mod with this. the modder who made it said in the comments of the mod that NVSupport tag isn't working and mentioned that they've tried to reach out to you and are awaiting a response. i figured since i saw the interaction i would elaborate that these two mods working together was the true nature of my request.
OMG OMG OMG I finally got this to work!! Literally been trying for a year and I finally got it working!
To all the people not able to get it to work...do not trust Vortex. Vortex is actually super reliable for almost all mods...but not this one. When I used Vortex I would get the sound that it turned on, but no effect. Even though all supporting mods were completely updated. I uninstalled it, made sure again that all supporting mods were updated, and then re-installed this manually. Now it works. Try it. There is hope. So happy right now.
Yeah, I noticed this too. Vortex is great for Fallout 4 mods, not so much for Cyberpunk 2077. If you can drag and drop or copy and paste, you've got this!
Hi and thanks for your mod, finally! 🙌😁 Would it be possible to a an other version with a less perfect effect? With some grain per example, actually like on the GIF in the description section 🙂
Would have loved this mod but after countless attempts to get it working I've had to give in. Can hear the noise when i press the hot key and it appears in CET, has its own native ui page and all that but it just does nothing.
CET 1.30.1 Codeware 1.7.1 Kiroshi Night Vision Mod 1.5 Native Settings UI 1.96
Same exact situation here. I have all those installed too. Having the same issues.
EDIT - I completely uninstalled this, and then did a manual reinstall rather than trust Vortex. It now works. I have no idea what Vortex is doing different, but whatever it is, it messes with the installation somehow.
Assuming you are using Vortex mod manager, try disabling the "auto redmod conversion tool", as it is enabled by default and tends to break stuff. There should be a toggle widget for it on your Vortex dashboard, or you can find it in Vortex settings under "V2077 settings".
I have this weird issue with this mod on my current setup using Mod Organizer 2 and Root Builder. I installed the mod correctly with all the prerequisites up to date, CET detect the mod (says "Mod NightVision detected" during the loadup console), Conflict Checker detects the archive and shows no conflict, yet the NSUI menu just doesn't show up and the mod just doesn't work. I've tried loading nothing but this mod to check for conflicts and it still doesn't work.
I gotta be honest with you, but any mod organizer doesn't work well with Cyberpunk. Idk why, I play skyrim so I'm no stranger to MO2 but with Cyberpunk it works better if you just install every single mod manually. Is a pain in the *ss tho...

Oh, My bad, it is available in "mods" menu settings if you install Native Settings UI and default hotkey is F3. Works as a charm, thank you!
