Update 2.21 New version is smoother. Compatible with LSD mod. Removed smoothingTime changes. (less ice) Removed some vehi. (KB...you still can get it from optional files)
Update 2.2 Fix links for game ver. 2.2. Add more vehicles.
Update 2.11 x2.5 smoothingTime for all vehicle. Q. Why don't I do mod for bikes? A. Because you can't control tilt of bike in game. That important part for drift on bike.
Update 2.1 Fix link on 911.
Update 2.0 Add new cars from PL. Add MidEngine type of vehicles.
Update 1.62 Now drift angles have been changed for most cars: 911, Quadra, Rayfield, Quartz for some AWD and RWD cars
yes. the base game driving helpers limit your movement to make driving easier. these mods adjust driving helpers to allow for more freedom of movement. freedom of movement usually comes at the cost of more room for error - makes it way more satisfying tho :)
keep in mind - some things can only really be changed for each car individually. all these mods do is just providing better global handling - up to you now to find or tune a car with handling you like!
Hello, I wanted to test this setup, but in the True Grip - Just Driving Friction Fix there is information that it's not compatible with Gripped Up. Did you notice that?
Wow, What's the heck. This last update changes EVERYTHING, the drifts are so good, maybe too good, too forgiving . Only the very fast cars become uncontrollable on failure but i dont care, the feeling is excellent.
Outlaw becomes an amazing drifter, it has this acceleration that allows it to swing then grip back for another corner without down time on contrary of many cars. Yet it's also risky and picky, it has personality. my new best friend.
caliburn can drift ... like a truck, and it's wayyyyyyyy too picky, and that's amazing because it totally fits the theme, who would drift with a bugatti veyron? It's doable... but it's s#*! nonethess, exactly like this video, poor drift car. Perfect! check at 1:0.
Galena cant really drift, it initiates the spin then do it's 90° without losing speed, it takes corners like a champ thoo.
terrier is a very reliable drifter, but it lacks acceleration after losing the grip so it wont initiate another drift, thoo perfect for drifting corners -> straight line -> corner when we finish the drift parallele to the road and not at a degree.
Type 66 is ultra playful and with all the updates, it's very handle-able. In CP, it had horrible over steering, now it's a pleasure to drive, easy drifts. Good car.
The real thing is that weight shift or no shift handbrake, then brake midpoint of the spin + countersteer... actually works now, without doing a poor 180°, it's 100% controllable. I wonder if it shall be more punishing thoo, it feels so easy now... but it's probably because i tried way too much before, without much success. However, in CP the traffics, obstacles, bumpers, sidewalks will mess with the drifts A LOT, so forgiving drifts are a godblessing.
installed everything that is suggested with Nexus mod manager, and for some reason its not working for me, i even tried removing cyber vehicle overhaul to see if that was messing with it but nope. i also don't have any other mods that mess with the car physics ether
So i've got Cyber Drift, Cyber Grip ,Dynamic Downforce ,Dynamic Gravity Modifier ,Limited Slip Differential ,Nulled Angle Correction, Slope Traction Factor and True Grip All in One I can't control the drift , i start the drift and the car just rotates . Now , is there a way i can get the feeling of the vanilla cars to feel more controllable? similar to ctxrlsec's cars (GTR R34/FORD/QUADRA)
Hi. If all other listed mod works that mean Cyber Drift works. Also mb you use some other handling mod coz i have no any problem with control car in drift. Also i play on keyboard and i have no other handling mods and also i dont use moded vehicls almost never, cant tall about all moded cars. :| Some new moded cars already integrate this settings some dont.
I have a problem with this mod. I'm sure that I've installed every required mod, but I tried many ways to install this mod, and still don't feel any difference in driving. I noticed that there is no "Mod Cyber Drift loaded" log in the console. Tested with vanilla and modded cars. Could you provide some more detailed installation instructions?
Pardon, are all the requirements actually hard requirements? Kinda new to modding CP beyond cosmetic mods. Or can I just download this file and drop it in the game? Been reading some comments here and there and a little confused.
Edit: re-read the post "If you want to achieve better stability results install required mods." so I am assuming not prerequisite but just a suggestion then.
hey, for the brake magic, little question, what's the EXPECTED result of this modification? What am i supposed to look at to compare it on/off? Or is it unknown yet? ;D
It's a parameter I can't explain, only feel. If you turn it off, Hoon becomes more uncontrollable and sharp (too much skid). If you turn it on at 1.0 (vanilla 0.5) then Hoon becomes more controlabel and soft. Hoon not in list of this mod.
k thx for the info ! So it smooths the braking power on a curve, over time. Too weak, it loses grip/skid, too strong it doesnt brake fast enough with less reactivity? need a lot of test to get it right for each car i guess.
All thoses parameters seem related to the curve in the settings controller in game, even on keyboard, i use RAW and i can tell a difference if i use something else.
“Factor” param usually work like this, lower value - faster effect is applied (correction for example), higher value -smoother effect will be applied. Effect is noticeable, if you constantly ride on same car, but it is not clear how much it is needed in end or whether it is necessary to touch. Somewhere better, somewhere worse. CP77 is an arcade game and therefore many parameters are same for all cars. If need better effect necessary to customize everything for each car to achieve a reasonable effect for each car disciplines.

Update 2.2

Update 2.11

A. Because you can't control tilt of bike in game. That important part for drift on bike.
Update 2.1
Fix link on 911.
Update 2.0
Add new cars from PL.
Add MidEngine type of vehicles.
Update 1.62
Now drift angles have been changed for most cars:
911, Quadra, Rayfield, Quartz for some AWD and RWD cars
these mods adjust driving helpers to allow for more freedom of movement.

all these mods do is just providing better global handling - up to you now to find or tune a car with handling you like!
basically download these mods along with this mod :
Baby Driver V2.0
Cyber Drift
Gripped Up - Main
True Grip - Slope Traction and Handbrake Handling Fix - Just Driving Friction Fix
Now this mod(Cyber Vehicle Overhaul - Version 2.0) modifies these values so that the car can brake better.
--Brake Power multiplier
--(Suggested maximum value: 2.0)
local BrakingTorqueMult = 10.0
--Brake Friction multiplier
--(Suggested maximum value: 1.2)
local BrakingFrictionFactorMult = 8.0
I hope I can help you, I am really very happy with this configuration :)
