    I extracted it into my folder like it said but nothing happened. Then I copied each of the files into their respective folders and the items
    were invisible. What happened?

    why do i need Equipment-EX?

      You don't. Equipment-EX is just useful for being able to layer clothing of the same type together. Which, if you're here and into clothing mods like this in the first place, I can't see a reason to not have Equipment-EX installed for that reason.
