4. Adjust your UV mesh to follow this UV
5. go into the car's .mesh (for example the ext01_body_01), create a new material or modify existing one inside localMaterialBuffer, then change your car's paint material (for example multilayer_vehicle_destruction.mi) to vehicle_modding_destruction.mt
About the burnt car problem. If I don't have the car spawned and I call it, it doesn't bug, I can enter and drive and it's all fine (and it feels so good driving this car in this game). If I load a save with the car spawned, when I enter the car it changes to a burnt version. If I save inside the car and load it, the car will be burnt, but if I exit the car, it'll go back to normal, I can enter it again and it works fine, BUT THEN if I exit it again it'll be burnt.
In addition to the arriving Burnt and only exit through right side, I found another new issue - the front license plate sits about a foot in front of the car now - see User Image
This is good. So good. The handling and throttle modulation is excellent. I think the only thing that could make it better would be if it had its own engine noise sound from a real McLaren F1.

The reason why is because unfortunately Codeware mod crashed my game!Tried to update Red4ext to 1.22 version; now I can't open the game anymore, with this pop up "encountered an error caused by corrupted or missing files" so I had to revert the previous versionNote that I am running the 2.10 game version
wow first of all this handling is the best ive tried so far, is it possible to add this to other custom cars? i mean ill do it myself if its even possible.
Great mod, this is actually a fun car to drive along with the other mclarens up here, be nice to get accurate audio though.
Orange metallic is the classic color since it was B. Mclarens New Zealand colors in 1960s F1 or something like that. Had the huge book they published about the making of this car, not the 600 page one you had to buy the car to get but the 150 page one, bought for 75 sold few years later for 600$ to a collector lol
Too bad cpdur didn't add more car racing to the game would be a blast w this across the whole map. Anyways thanks again.

only custom car that keeps coming in destroyed yet still being able to drive (when you freshly call in a car with 'V'hotkey)
