TROUBLESHOOTING QUESTIONS
Q: When I try to pickpocket, the key prompt when I get behind someone is showing as "[Invalid Input]." A: Install/Update Input Loader to latest version (see red4ext/logs/red4ext.log to confirm whether Input Loader is running / if it is outdated)
Q: When I try to buy Stealthrunner perks nothing happens. A: Install/Update Input Loader to latest version (see red4ext/logs/red4ext.log to confirm whether Input Loader is running / if it is outdated)
Q: I have gotten enough Ghost rewards to receive a perk point, but in the Stealthrunner menu it says I have 0 perk points. Where is my perk point? A: The mod doesn't have special Stealthrunner perk points, they're just normal perk points. So you likely got the perk points and spent them on other things.
Q: When I open the Stealthrunner menu, all of the perk levels and stats are showing "-1". A: The CET part of the mod is not installed or CET is not working generally. Try installing Cyber Engine Tweaks and this mod again. If CET is working you should be able to bring up the CET console using a keybind you set on first run. This mod's CET log is at Cyberpunk 2077\bin\x64\plugins\cyber_engine_tweaks\mods\StealthRunner\StealthRunner.log
GAMEPLAY QUESTIONS
Q: Why does this quest have No-Touch, or Ghost, etc.? Don't I have to do [insert my assumption about the quest]? A: Please actually try to finish a quest with that objective before posting to say the objective is not possible. Maybe you don't know all the ways the quest can be completed. Or maybe I made a mistake, but you should test it before posting about it.
Q: I am failing an objective that I don't think I should be failing in X quest. A: I have tested every single quest and gig in the game and have attempted to make sure that only achievable objectives are shown. There can be mistakes, though. So if you see an objective displayed, it means I thought it was possible to get. If you think it's impossible (with ALL loadouts), or it's failing for some reason (this happens due to forced scripted combat, etc.), please make a video showing what happens. You might think you're failing an objective for no reason or some specific reason, but it might be a different one that I know about.
It could also be helpful if you share a save from before completing the quest.
Q: In gig X it isn't possible to get No-Touch and Shadow at the same time. Or It isn't possible to get Hero and No-Touch at the same time. Is that intended? A: Yes, that's just how it is for some gigs (and notably for all Hero objectives). You can't always do everything!
Q: Why do objectives fail after I complete a quest? I go back to kill everyone and lose Ghost, Pacifist, etc.? A: By default objectives can be failed after completing a quest, but only for the last quest completed. There is an option to change this, under the "Rewards" section in the mod's settings, "Objectives from completed quests can be failed", which you can turn off.
Q: What are the CET commands to give myself Ghost/etc. points? A: You can change these numbers to get more at a time. Shadow is "UltraGhostAward". Game.GetPlayer():UpdatePlaythroughStat(Enum.new('StealthRunner.StealthRunnerPlaythroughStat', 'GhostAward'), 1) Game.GetPlayer():UpdatePlaythroughStat(Enum.new('StealthRunner.StealthRunnerPlaythroughStat', 'UltraGhostAward'), 1) Game.GetPlayer():UpdatePlaythroughStat(Enum.new('StealthRunner.StealthRunnerPlaythroughStat', 'PacifistAward'), 1) Game.GetPlayer():UpdatePlaythroughStat(Enum.new('StealthRunner.StealthRunnerPlaythroughStat', 'NoTouchAward'), 1) Game.GetPlayer():UpdatePlaythroughStat(Enum.new('StealthRunner.StealthRunnerPlaythroughStat', 'HeroAward'), 1) To get the perk points and item unlocks for reaching certain levels you would need to save and reload for a check on game load, or gain a reward the normal way through a quest.
In version 1.5.0 I made a big reduction to the default reward thresholds. This mean you will get perks sooner and faster, and if you load up a save you might have some new perks (or items unlocked) right away without getting any notification.
The reduction is by about a third, followed by some tweaking here and there. If you want to keep the old numbers, set the "Objective reward level multiplier" setting to 1.5 to get *pretty close to* the old numbers, BEFORE you load your save.
Looking for a few comments on which perks you use, and other questions like that, as I will be working on new perks sometime in the future: https://forms.gle/riE666y4t28MN1Fd8
Does anyone have a clue / list of incompatible mods for this? I'm trying it with the City Of Dreams (Heavy) collection and it doesn't seem to show the skill tree or objectives, even though I can see it in the ingame mod settings.
Absolutely love this mod. Fits perfectly into the game and gives some nice rewards for being sneaky. The no touch path is especially difficult in the early game. I suspect I won't manage to make any progress on that til I hit level 10 and get optical camo. The other's are all doable without any special gear or perks. There are some additional challenges if you use Enemies of Night City since some of the enemies seem to be immune to stealth takedowns but there are other ways to handle them.
Anyone else having a problem with Pickpocket DELETING enemy's gun from the loot pool?
They still have it equipped (can shoot with it if they detect you), but if you choke them after pickpocketing, the weapon is neither on the mob (inventory is empty after pickpocketing), nor does it drop to the ground. Not even as "broken" variant. Which means you can only really pickpocket if you're intending to do the no-touch challenge, without it punishing you (cause some 50% chance to get a crafting component from pickpocket sure ain't beating a chance for a whole gun).
Maybe it's another mod conflict... do you guys have the same problem?
No it's not a conflict, it's just a consequence of how the pickpocket works. Correct, if you plan on taking out the enemy, you won't gain much from pickpocketing them first. This wasn't an issue before patch 2.0, but they changed how the loot generation works in that patch.
It's not a bug, like "oops I'm deleting the weapon from the loot table", as you said, it's more that I'm doing something hacky to make the game generate loot for an enemy before they are incapacitated, which it wasn't designed to do, and it has some consequences I can't easily avoid. I'll have a look again at forcing them to drop their held weapon, but I might not be able to get it to work.
For context, my motivation for adding pickpocketing to the mod was to make sneaking through without touching anyone more fun, since you can now get the shards that you would otherwise miss.
I was so confused for so long So glad I found this post! Definitely wish it was listed somewhere cause I am a loot goblin and was pickpocketing every enemy and then killing them to get more loot but I was actually possibly limiting me.
Is there a level requirement for the gear you unlock? I should be seeing the Ghost gear at rippers, but I'm not. I don't want to just console it, if the rarity/level requirement holds true. Thanks. :-)
You get a different rarity for sale based on your level, same as with base game cyberware. If the base game camo is for sale, then the ones from this mod should show.
Anyone got a guide on how to get No Touch for the gig The Lord Giveth and The Lord Taketh by Padre? I tried to remote hack the SUV but it can't be hacked.
If I left No Touch active for that gig I I probably did it (since it seems hard - it's not that I test every objective for every gig). I think you just have to sacrifice ghost/shadow and carefully drive out without hitting anyone. Maybe by using distract, bait, etc.
I completed a quest with no touch and confirmed that my points increased by 1, but then when I attack an enemy, my points decrease by 1. Is this a specification? Do I need to wait a certain amount of time after clearing the no touch?
check mod settings, under "Rewards" there is a toggle called Objectives from completed quests can be failed. Change this to your desired settings (Mod includes explanations of each)
heads up for anyone that may need this, you can often use the "Bait" quickhack to lure away an enemy which would kill a civilian. even after the bait ends, they won't kill that civilian as the scripted interaction has been interrupted. with this loophole you can get ghost/shadow/pacifist/etc AND hero on many missions.
likely related note, if you aren't using a level cap mod and intend to complete stealthrunner objectives as often as possible, you may want to tweak the XP rate in the mod settings. I tend to be a completionist and I was noticing that I was already level 40 with not many of the main missions done yet.

Are you checking in the correct place for the skill tree? (button directly in the hub, not with the other skill trees)
