About this mod
Edits of vanilla Rattail hair: shorter in the back, a bit taller on top.
Update: for Masc and Fem V!

There are two Standalone versions for Masc V, and one for Fem V. All variants come with edited Cap Styles (see pics).
For funsies there's also a Modular, Capless variant: this lets you use cap styles and colors independently of each other. However, it requires some other mods to work (see below).
All Fem V variants replace fHair 42 (the spiky one)
...and are unique to V, thanks to NoraLee and Silverlags' UUH4V.
Random NPC Lowlife's peachy jedi mullet remains undisturbed.
⫷ Option 1 - Standalone Versions ( m & f ) ⫸
For Masc V, choose any:
- Masc V - Version 1 with Cap 01
- Masc V - Version 1 with Cap 02
- Masc V - Version 2 with Cap 03
For Fem V, choose any:
- Fem V - Version 1 with Cap 01
- Fem V - Version 1 with Cap 02
Installation: download any Standalone mod from here, extract and drop the "archive" folder into your main Cyberpunk directory ..\Cyberpunk 2077. Alternatively, Vortex should also work.
⫷ Option 2 - Capless / Modular ⫸
This requires Nim's More Head Meshes mod, and AnruiMurasaki's Hair Caps mod. If you are already familiar with Anrui's hair mods this will work in the same way. If not:
Detailed Installation: download the Capless - Modular mod from here (containing 2 Hairs for Masc V and 1 for Fem V, as well as 3 Cap Styles), as well as the above two.
The following files are to be placed in this folder: ..\Cyberpunk 2077\archive\pc\mod
- Hair Style: choose one .archive file from folder "1_HairStyle-Rattailless-Capless"
- Cap Style: choose one .archive file from folder "2_CapStyles-Rattailless"
- Cap Color: choose any ANRUI_Cap_Color_x.archive
- Cap Mask: choose either ANRUI_Cap_Mask_Cyberware01 if your V uses it, otherwise choose ANRUI_Cap_Mask_None
- Cap (slot): choose any of the Male or Female ANRUI_CapM/F_x slot #s which you aren't already using (this corresponds to slots in Nim's More Head Meshes)
- Main Files: #_nim_more_head_meshes.archive
Notes
- Capstyle 02: some lighter cap colors may look kind of dodgy zoomed in. It's basically the vanilla cap with some small edits and is meant to have more hair covering it.
- Capstyle 03: is intended/recommended for Masc V v2 hair.
- Of course you are free to use any Cap Styles with the Modular version (for example the Hair Caps mod provide many to choose from).
- The Standalone meshes are a bit darker than the one used for the Capless version, which is darker than vanilla. This happened somewhere along the line of a series of bodge jobs stemming from me not knowing what I'm doing and I tried to fix it the best I could. With more bodge jobs. Vertex color voodoo. This is fine.
- Fem V version does not have physics. But it's a short hair anyway, so.
