Just endorsed this finally. It's an underrated, but absolute-must-have, mod. There are so many cool locales in NC where I just think "Damn, just take a beat and look at that, would love to sit and watch for a while." With this little gem, I can.
One thing I'd suggest for any future update is the option to just "sit where you stand" by the press of a button. Just drop down without scanning, legs crossed or some other chilled out pose, IF there's a flat surface underneath. And of course a "smoke anywhere" would be cool & terrific & awesome, but I guess that is a tad bit more animationwork^^.
In any case, thank you a lot for this little chill-out addition, NexusGuy999! Keep it up!
But has anyone figured out how to bind the "scan to sit" key to a controller? Ideally the in-game scan (LB/L1) and "scan to sit" become one and the same!
Edit: right after posting this, it seems to be working as I suggested. Maybe cus I turned off the "Hide UI when sitting" toggle in CET?
Latest version (1.3) completely ruins the camera while sitting, can barely move it around and can't look down, weird locking and constantly resetting issue. Downgraded to 1.2 and works perfectly again!
Figured it out: if you disable [Hide UI while sitting] option the camera movement gets shredded and janked.
If you're in here wondering why your camera is freaking out, Go back in your game and enable 'Hide UI while sitting'
Currently, with the latest patch 2.12a, this mod will cause the game to crash whenever you try to sit. Let's just wait for the author to update this amazing mod.
Mine is updated and i'm having the same situation so i don't think that's the issue EDIT: a fix was released after the initial 2.12a update, dowloaded it and it's working now 🥰
Unfortunately, the game crashes at startup when sit anywhere mode is installed. I tried this by trial and error by running all the modes one by one. Unfortunately this is the mod that caused my game to crash. All required contexts are up to date. I hope the author will update this mod for us :(

Its a very niche thing. But i’m glad and grateful for modders that recognise little thing like this really make the immersion juices flow.
You cannot enter photo mode while seated though. Action is blocked. So it is 1st person only.
Is it possible (& not troublesome) to make character stand up on hitting "space" button? Would be nice to have
