Thanks bro, i can finally play the game without the continuous migraine breaks. This mod should not be in the gameplay section of the nexus tho, but in the health safety one.
As far as I can tell unfortunately this mod does nothing for me. I'm using shotguns with a visor and they are still shaking all over the place. Definitely placed it in the right folder. Have several other mods installed in that same folder.
Hmm, mind telling me the name of the shotgun you're using? Or is it on all types of shotguns? Please do note that shotguns still have quite a strong vertical recoil, hence the sudden camera movement upwards, so unless you use them in combination with the countermass mod, you'll still have the camera jump upwards, but it shouldn't distort on the edges of the screen. I've tested 3 different shotgun types (all I've had in my inventory atm), and with the weapon-mod none of them had any vertical movement nor screen distortion (shake effect), so if I know the name of the shotgun you're having issues with I could look into it a bit more to see what the issue is. Only shotgun I'm aware of this mod doesn't work with currently is Ba Xing Chong.
But basically yeah, a lot of guns still move the crosshair and screen upwards on shot, as that is a part of the recoil mechanic, this mod only disables the screen distorting part, so a combination of the mod + countermass weapon mod is needed to disable it fully.
I got that. It's not the recoil. I have taken another look at it and seems like I've been wrong. Tried Crusher and it works like a charm. The Tactician seem a bit iffy though. Either that's just how the recoil works on that one. Pulling up and to the right. Or the mod doesn't work on the Tactician shotguns. I wager it's just the way the Tactician recoil is designed.
Hmm, that's odd... Mind giving me some more info, what version&platform are you running the game on? And also, did you confirm the file is properly placed in cyberpunk 2077\archive\pc\patch\?
does this mod remove the camera / weapon shaking when charging a tech weapon?... because that is more annoying than any other shake imo, it makes tech snipers useless because of the shake, especially once u unlock the full charge (hold) ability.

Currently it does not. Still need to check if it's doable with new version of cp77tools. Whoops, it seems it does disable the camera shake itself, but it doesn't disable the weapon shake... So the weapon and crosshair will still shake, but camera shouldn't, at least on nekomata sniper & achilles.
It should be possible to decrease bullet spread with CET (Cyberpunk Engine Tweaks), I believe I saw a command for it somewhere in the files... Try searching it up on CET wiki, or ask around on cyberpunk modding discord, I believe I saw some functions regarding weapon spread there. Alternatively I could look into it later, but I haven't fiddled with CET yet as it is buggy for me.
I dont know if its just me cos noone else mention it in comments but everytime i press sprint to run the camera flips for a sec i dint have that issue before i install your mod.
Yeah, either set additive camera motions to off (disables the camera shake when moving around), or alternatively use the 2nd variant of the mod that doesn't touch that part of camera shake. Both versions are available for download. Gonna try fixing it in the future to disable the camera shake completely
