The KS UV discord says all Skin related mods that mess with the colors numbers like this one needs to make a UV version.

This seems the most likely. I would love an update to address this, but I could probably try to figure it out myself too. Also, seems like the mod is having issues with Tzarev's mod currently. The crotch (at least on male) will not have the correct color, leading to an awkward patch of old skintone skin.
Did a quick comparison with it installed and not installed. It's subtle, but it is working as of update 2.11.
If you're having issues, be sure to check your mods to ensure you don't have other skin tone and complexion mods that are overwriting this. I'm using the VTK framework for my game, so you may get different results using a vanilla model or the UV texture framework.
Now I just need to find out what Anrui is doing with their lips!
Edit: Found comments elsewhere confirming that the lips are a private mod, but that they were going to release similar mods in the future! That post was from 2022, so maybe those plans have changes :x
Plans haven't changed, I just have way too many things I wanna work on and so things get pushed around depending on what I feel like working on next. So there's plans, but not set dates, and with a full time job I can't invest as much time into modding as I used to.
Honestly I super didn't expect a reply! I can understand having other stuff going on, and have nothing but respect for making the mods you want to make as the urge strikes, even though my original post might not read that way. I appreciate the update, and I'm sure some of the other folks around here do to!
Thank you very much for this mod! I used the Smooth only on my previous V along with your Lucy's Complexion, and her skin was just... wow, haha. Now I'm trying to create the Cyber Geisha look, and now it's the Pale and Smooth that rocks! <3
So I dunno if this is something on my end, but, for some reason my char's right arm is a dark tan in the inventory menu, but in game it's fine, is that a known issue?

I really like this mod but I want to combine it with a mod that allows my character to look sweaty but this mod conflicts with that one.
this is one of the few vtk mods I have found that actually remembered to include genital textures, so I'm just trying to figure out how to make everything work together properly
This is a skin edit, not a complexion one, so if you use vanilla complexions you won't get as much smoothness. This mod only makes skin 2 appear as smooth on the surface as skin 1, nothing more (besides making it paler than vanilla if using the original version instead of the optional file) When talking about skin, I'm referring to the skin color, not the complexions.
