2.0 Safe This mod is more or less update proof since it's a basegame retexture
Hard Requirement Material and Texture Override here on the nexus is a hard requirement for this mod to function Credit to Goostoost since I had completely forgotten this existed
Load Order If the mod doesn't work try switching out the ''00'' on the ''00glossy-netrunners'' file to ZZ so it looks like ''ZZglossy-netrunners'' This is no guaranteed fix but hey it might do something, it will effectively flip the load suggestion for this specific mod.

Currently there are some areas ingame where shaders do not play nicely with this texture override, essentially almost inverting the values and making the netrunner suit look like it's made of oil.
Good news it should have a small chance of happening, so not all the time but may be noticeable, if you do notice it reply here so I can gauge if this is annoying enough to warrant a fix, I may already have a solution
I'm running modded netrunners myself and you can run both but this mods colour map will overwrite that mod as that mod relies on the basegames colour values that my mod changes as an override.
So in conclusion if you do run both you will have sleeveless netrunners but they will be shiny like the netrunners in my mod!
Hallo, I do like green but I couldn't find the suit when I was demoing the colors, sorry!
If I remember correctly when I set this up the green suit wasn't in the same list as the other suits in the database, as it was unique ((I think) It's been a long while since I set this up and back then it wasn't given any real attention by me, I probably did a bad job with its color if I did do it because I couldn't find the correct item in the list)
I do not have any plans at the moment of expanding this mod, or making a mod separate with paired balaclavas. I do however highly encourage anyone who is interested in modding to take a look at the redmodding wiki and make their dreams come true!
No idea why, but it's not working for me, I've changed the file name so that it loads first and everything, still not getting glossy suits. Would any refits affect this mod? Can send in my mod list if need be, but it's a lot
Honestly no clue why this would happen, the filename starting with 00 should be enough and since this is just a texture edit anything that uses basegame textures will get a gloss/shine.
Earlier someone asked if it was compatible with another mod and all I can say is that if a mod uses their own textures this mod will not override that mods textures, have you tried the vanilla suits?
Personally I don't know of any incompatibilities and I do use other netrunner mods that play nice with this glossy netrunners mod. It's a tossup, I have very little ideas of what it could be except that you try to remove cosmetic mods and just try to self diagnose since there's a heap of mods out there, sorry that I can't really point out an issue.
You can try switching out ''00'' on the mod file to ''ZZ'', this will flip the load order, it might help, other than that it still works for me, since it's a retexture and none of the base textures for the regular vanilla suits have changed this does not need updating.
hey @KingCrious, ive been using this mod for the past few days now with no problem until I played the new 2.10 update, so lots of mods need updating and i think this may be one of them as its not showing anymore glossiness
UPDATE @KingCrious, this mod does work for the new update, however you need to have the material and texture override mod for this to work, you should update your descriptions and all to let others know that this has a dependency
If that mod uses separate textures yes but if it uses basegame textures they will be overriden by this mod just as I stated in the description of this mod. Short answer is try and see, you might be surprised but also no? Maybe?
If you're interested in delving into it I recommend checking the Redmodding Wiki (specifically the section on items and materials), on the short end you'll need WolvenKit, WolvenKit Console and MlSetupBuilder.

edit: just checked and modded netrunners' description says standalone so I guess not.

I was wondering, do you have any plans to do the same with the balaclavas so that they match the netrunner suits?
