Is this broken for 2.0? I did install it first without easter egg. I then uninstalled it though and followed the instructions. Still doesnt stick though. Getting awfully good weather.
Is there a plan to update this for 2.0? I'm weirdly enticed by your suggestion to go to all of the ingame locations and take pictures with rain or fog equivelents.
This mod really added a lot of immersion on my last run, would love to see it updated again!
Damn I followed the directions and I'm stuck on like... It's nasty yellow and raining everywhere for like two days. It worked fine for the first day but just got stuck on the yellow. It's like I'm on Venus or something. Everything's been so yellow for so long I feel like I'm playing Deus Ex: Human Revolution.
EDIT: I uninstalled the mod, hit up ol' Roy Batty, and the Venusian atmosphere is gone.
Ask me I think there should be less rain, but always a kind of Pacific Northwest sky. Rain does get a little old listening to it all the time, needs some refreshing. Based on what I've seen of the old weather cycle, the way I think this one should work is that there's a constant churn of overcast, light rain, heavy rain, fog. Occasionally, following some not-rain, it should roll over to pollution (no rain = not taking pollution out of the atmosphere) and then to acid rain, and once the acid rain is gone, it should be a rare spell of sunniness (the rain took the pollution out (and I"m not sure if sunny still even exists in Climate Change mod)) and then go back to the dreary cycle.
same man. I am also getting the yellow sandstorm always. even in the city. Shame. this was a really good mod. Wonder if the sandstorm is removed completely.
hmmm... maybe there was some update, I'll look into this.
I agree with your suggestion too Fnhatic in fact that's the way it is basically intended to function. The game's weather engine just kinda sucks and it's hard to get it to move between states the way you want it to. I suspect the way they made it was kind of broken and fixed repeatedly but with all the other bugs they eventually just gave up and called it good enough.
I'll see what I can do, maybe the reason the mod isn't working now is because they finally fixed the weather system.
