Yeah this isn't working properly... there are always some cars that when you enter, the radio just turns ON.
The ideal behavior is that when vanilla game settings under Gameplay is enabled to "Sync to vehicle radio", if your radio is OFF it will stay OFF when you enter vehicles. And if your radio is ON it will stay ON (with the same channel) when you enter vehicles.
By "entering vehicles", it includes your own summoned vehicles, as well as vehicles you hijack.
Been using it with v2.11. It doesn't work right, mostly it just causes problems. On foot, have radio on one station, get in a vehicle, and the radio is on a random station. Or in a vehicle with radio off, get out and radio is now on a random station. Sometimes the radio hud icon will show it playing but there's no sound. I'm having to turn the radio off multiple times before it actually turns off, unless I go into the radio menu. I'm having to turn radios off by going into the radio menu because just hitting the radio button usually doesn't work. Needs an update.
EDIT: After removing this mod, and having some of the same behavior persist, it's now clear that CDPR has broken the radios. This mod wasn't the problem after all.
Does this mod work for you guys? I was glad when I discovered it existed, but alas, no dice. Maybe it needs updating or something? I have very few mods, and all work correctly. I have the required "redscript" installed as well. Installing using Nexus.
Thanks for making this! I'm actually installing it right behind Radio EXT. I really wanted to be able to hand select my own music (such as Orbital, The Prodigy, Carpenter Brut, Gunship, Com Truise etc) and have a station for each of them, but also LOVE being able to get into a car with no music blaring at all! It's been too annoying. So both of these mods combined will add a lot to the immersion. Lastly, like others have said, it would be great to have custom presets just like a real car stereo. In fact up to 8 preset options would be outstanding because Radio EXT allows you to create your own stations. However, by assigning each station numerically that may be a workaround, such as 88.1, 88.2, 88.3, etc..
I like some of the radio music too, even on Ritual FM. The problem was that I heard them soo many times (and the occasional "Good morning, Night Citeee!") that I got sick of them. Someone pushed the radio thing at CDPR way too hard IMO.

And yeah i agree with how the vanilla settings should be!
I HATE always changing to my custom radio station every time I get into a car.

"Silence World Radios"
There might be other ones with different names.
I was surprised there wasn't one already. Became muscle memory rushing to turn off the radio all the time. :D
