The 2.01 update of the mod is NOT out just yet, BUT...
I'm making very good progress and possibly could be done anytime (in a couple days?) if all goes well in terms of real life stuff that could otherwise distract me.
Updated for Cyberpunk 2077 version 1.63! Thank you for coming back! You shouldn't have waited this long for my mods to be updated for Cyberpunk 2077 version 1.63...
I apologize that it has taken me such a long time to finally recreate my mods from scratch and make them compatible with patch 1.63 of one of our favorite games.
I really appreciate every single one of the messages and donations I've ever received, the latter especially recently as my personal life took a certain turn.
Money is not what has ever motivated me to work on the mod since its inception, but I do need to say thank you to everyone and especially that one person who reached out (you know who you are!). Every single cent was appreciated, make no mistake!
Back to the reason why the update has taken so long:
Unfortunately, the donations can only go so far. I've been focusing a little bit more on my financial situation, and my schedule was air tight.
This meant I couldn't divert my attention, time and energy to modding until a little window in August - which is when I finally completed the mod update.
I am typing this message in hopes that you forgive my tardiness...
To be honest, author should hide this mod or just rename to be outdated . No offense, your mod is causing so many crashes. My friend's game crash right as he reaches the train station in With a Little Help From My Friends. And he has to search for an answer which was a 2-year-old post from reddit. It is ok if you don't want to update the mod anymore. At least you could do something to stop it.
When mod enabled i keep clipping through the map at random locations. Pacifica mall the only one that is consistent. I dno why or what i am doing wrong. Seems like to much trying to load at once (aka, my pc/mod problem?)? got no clue.
cheers for the effort tho. looks great when working.
This mod breaks the game in 2.1. Textures dont load. Missions cant be finished because interactions are missing. Elevator in konpeki plaza was just a hole to fall out the map. Removing this mod immediately fixed all that.
After digging through mods after mods, I couldn't find which mod was causing the game to freeze during Playing For Time mission where Takemura tells me to shoot the guy until I removed this mod. Hopefully this one gets updated soon.
This is still correct as per today, the mod does not only break the Takemura driving scene but also the Panam mission prior to life during wartime mission. The mod seems to make my game freeze even though i'm not in the mission but passing by the same location (above the dam at Rancho Coronado).
You are using mismatched version of the game and the mod. The mod has not yet been updated for 1.63, ergo the issues.
The mod itself, when functioning properly, doesn't break the stuff you're describing. Rather, the mod is currently outdated and needs an update. Once I update it, those issues would no longer occur until CDPR updates the game again.
The person you are replying to was also using mismatched version of the mod and the game - at the time, of course.
I'm in the same boat. Just started modding and went down the rabbit hole of required files that landed me here. Unfortunately, there are other mods requiring this, and the combined mods all seem to be working better than anything else I found. Maybe it's these files, plural, idk...I threw the kitchen sink at and tried them all w/o any luck. I'm on fresh install of the game with a new rig and it's bombing out during the Panam mission.
On a side note, for the little bit of playtime I tried it before Panam, it really looked good. Still can't get into the game itself, but it def looked A LOT better than any other visual mods. For reference purposes - I'm running on a high-end rig (4090/13900k), 7.4.2 atmos, LG G1 oled tv (g-sync, 120fps, HDR, 4:4:4,10bit color). Hopefully this gets updated soon. Thank you for the work you've put into the mods so far.

If yes, when will you update?
You can bet on that :P
The mod is definitely broken until I update it for 1.63
I'll see when I have time, this update caught me off-guard at an odd time where I'm kind of busy, but I'll see what I can do!
