I come back to ask you if you had time to seek and maybe find why the Meluminary animations replace all the animations added when installed.
Another question, I've seen in the Rockerboy/Rockergirl animation mod that it add a new menu with poses, does it mean technically mods like "if it fits V sits" etc.. could be made new menu with archivexl without replace the vanilla pose ? and could they be added all together ?
I am working a bit slowly at the moment, with modding taking not quite a backseat, but something like it, as I manage some personal things and real life business. But I do have a fix in mind for the Meluminary animations issue, and it should be up.. Soon? ^^; I very much don't want to make promises on dates and then fail to keep them, but when MPAF next updates, better compatibility with Meluminary's animation mods will be included. Unless catastrophe strikes, I would like to say that this fix, some others, and more, will be up by the end of February, if not much earlier.
Part of what's taking so long is that I would the next update not just to be a little patch with fixes, but for it to include a new feature. While mods like the Rockerboy/Rockergirl animation mod obviously work with MPAF as it exists now, the next iteration of MPAF will include file paths devoted especially to these kinds of mods, and will also come with resources and instructions on how to make your own. It will be possible to have many of these types of animation mods installed at once.
And I will also be updating If It Fits, V Sits to use the system, and adding many, many more sitting, leaning, laying, and standing poses to it in the process. If your V wants to loiter somewhere, I will have them covered for sure.
This update is still planned, however, there have been further delays as 'personal real life business' has snow-balled into a series of family emergencies. It will happen when it happens. I'd like that to be relatively soon, but I will not give a timescale at this point.
Hi! Just wanted to ask if I also have to delete all PMU pose packs in order for this mod to work properly, and also if compatibility with PMU is planned in the future.
You could, in theory, leave the PMU pose packs installed and simply remove the core PMU mod, however, this will likely result in many empty/"broken" poses. Essentially, those PMU poses become empty poses replaced with idling because they can no longer find the data they are looking for. This mod should still work, you will just have a lot of "clutter" in your photomode pose selection.
I am hopeful that compatibility with PMU may eventually come in the future, however, as both the author of that mod and myself are quite busy these days, I don't want to make any promises. We shall have to see.
So i've got a problem that a few other also had: the one where V just stands there and looks around, whenever I load in a Photomode Animation. I use the Naughty Animations Mod. I don't have PMU installed and I have every required mod installed. I also have not installed the Body Creator by SP0, since that was the solution for other people. I don't know what else to try. Plz help :)
Can't seem to get the cigarettes to spawn in V's hand when using the smoking animated poses from the Fem V Specialized Photomode Pose Packs - Static and Animated mod. The chosen animation still plays correctly for all poses in the Custom Animations category in PM, it's just not spawning the cigarette. Not sure what I'm missing.
Ah, yes, animations in the Custom Animations category need props made for them, they don't show up automatically. I have a few sitting around, I just haven't had a chance to get a whole upload's worth together.
I'm about to run out the door, so I can only hand you what I have on hand at the moment, but I do have a cigarette prop set up for Custom Animation slot 02. It can be found for FV or MV, here.
Ah awesome, thanks a lot. It would be nice to get all available prop items as part of the framework if possible - some older animation mods don't seem to pack them alongside the animations on their page like the one I mentioned.
So, I'm not sure which mod is causing the issue. But I've made sure to follow all recommendations and removed PMU and installed your patch for UV Body shape. When I enable photomode my V is a complete mess. Model is completely broken, it's like the body is melting and only the head is intact. I've checked that I have no remaining file tied to PMU. I can't put two and two together here to figure out what's causing it. Any idea?
EDIT: Okay, not even sure if it's related to this mod or anything adjacent, because it still persists after uninstalling it. So you may disregard this post..
EDIT 2: I'm the idiot. :> I'm not using UV body shape. So the patch messed everything up. So disregard everything :D
Just a heads up, when I installed both the main and compatibility file together via vortex, I could see the "custom animations" tab in the options, but none of the animations from other mods would work AND default poses stopped working, but the action "combat" poses still worked. After uninstalling and then manually installing the files instead, the mod works fine. Somethings wrong with the vortex download I think (I do not have PMU and have never installed)
Do you mean to allow NPCs to use the MPAF-added pose pack slots/animations? That would be up to the creator of that mod to contact me and seek to make them compatible.
Yeah! :) When I install this framework and the Nibbles to NPC mod, it just doesn't give me the option to "summon" the character in photo mode like you would with Nibbles. Normally photo mode gives you the option to switch between V and Nibbles and make one or both visible or not, but it seems like it totally removes the ability to put Nibbles in shots at all, even when I don't have the Nibbles to NPC mod installed.
Sorry, I'm trying to explain this clearly but I'm probably failing miserably... x_x
UPDATE: I'm an idiot and apparently I still had one file left over from Nibbles to NPC remaining and that's why it wasn't giving me the option to summon Nibbles in photo mode lmao. Oopsie...
So, to clarify, once you got the files sorted, what sort of incompatibility remained? Was this mod still seemingly 'blocking' the ability to summon the NPC in photomode?
Yeah, it's just not compatible with the Nibbles to NPC mods, at least that I've found. The framework blocks that one's functionality. Would be great if there was compatibility in the future because I love this framework and being able to use it on photo mode NPCs as well as V would making posing so much easier, but I understand the mod author would have to contact you about compatibility first.
Very odd, I wouldn't have expected them to be entirely incompatible, but I also don't know how the other mod is assembled.
I'm on a sort of pseudo-hiatus for December, clearing out old almost-finished projects and doing some personal work, but failing all else, I'll look into at least basic compatibility in January. Apologies for the delay, but I've been needing to recharge my batteries for a while.
It has not been tested with Vortex installation - you do so at your own risk. It may work, or may not. I think it is packaged in a way that Vortex can handle, but I am in no way sure.
If you decide to install it via Vortex and have issues, I will do my best to provide support, but I am not particularly familiar with the tool and thus can't make any promises.
Hi ! I feel this mod is awesome and has a huge potential but I'm sure I'm not using it well..
I've installed naughty dance animation and it works perfectly, but can you clarify something to better understand please, I've installed if it fits V sits, but can't find the animation, I've installed meluminary femV pose, and found it replaced default PM animation but it replaces dance animation too. Does ur mod mean I can put several animations from this mod ? If yes, is it one animation by zip or several, I'm a bit lost, sorry..
Hey! No worries, hopefully I can help so that you can get the most out of it. :)
If It Fits, V Sits is a mod that replaces some of the existing photomode Idle poses. It works with MPAF (this mod), but it won't show up in the Custom Animations category; you can find that mod's poses in the regular Idle category in photomode. The poses from If It Fits, V Sits are static - they don't animate.
With regards to the mod by meluminary, I assume you are referring to one of the animation files from this mod That's actually a fair point, and may be a bug you found - I just tested it, and while it should just fit into the Default Animation slot, it does seem to be overwriting everything. I'll need to take another look at my files and see if I can get that fixed up, but that likely won't be until Tuesday at the earliest.
In the meantime, you should be able to use poses for the following, without breaking the Naughty Dances animations:
Generic Average Female (This mod has a bunch, as does this mod. From this mod, you can use the files labeled Female Average, though you'll only have access to one pose out of each .archive, because the second functions differently.);
There's also this mod (which has poses for Generic Average Female, Judy, and Panam).
From these two mods (1, 2), you can use the files from the Main Files sections, 'for GAF', 'for Judy' and 'for Panam'.
With these mods, you can install and use, at one time:
Mods that fill up the ten Custom Animation slots (each of the Naughty Dances .archive files fills all ten slots, so you can use one of these at a time.)
1 animation mod that is labeled for Generic Average Female (or Spawnable (not Hover) V)
I'm using spawn0 body mod and unique V rig (no photo unlocker) with Compatibility patch. Animations work, but body becomes vanilla in photo mode. Any solutions?
I checked the Unique V Rig patch using a different rig mod, but I can take a look at it with the spawn0 one and see if I can find the issue. Expect a slight delay as I'm unable to troubleshoot for much of today, but I'll reply here again once I have something/anything.
I personally install everything manually, and the instructions for installing this mod are for manual installation. The lack of a mod manager should not be hindering this mod's function or compatibility in any way.
I looked into it briefly, realized that there were way too many options under the umbrella of spawn0's body mods for me to be sure what you were using, and then forgot to reply. My apologies.
Can you link me to the page(s) of what spawn0 body mod(s) you are using, and tell me which files you are using? I can then try and troubleshoot.
Other users have reported issues with this mod when using spawn0 body mods, but I'm unsure if it's an issue with all of them, or just some.
Are you certain that this is a new issue, and not one you have experienced prior to the installation of MPAF? Because it looks to me that this is a base interaction between spawn0's mods and the Unique V Rig framework. A direct quote from the installation instructions document that comes with the spawn0 Body Mod:
if ur using Framework - Unique V Body Shape - Rig -> https://www.nexusmods.com/cyberpunk2077/mods/3725 then it will change only npc femle bodies, not PLAYER female body.
Unless the mod's documentation is out of date, I can only assume that the issue you are seeing (photomode V using the default female rig, instead of whichever spawn0 rig you intend to use) is a result of the fact that spawn0's mods don't actually seem to use the Unique V Rig framework to apply to V, but rather to impact exclusively NPCs and leave V in the default shape.
Perhaps the documentation is out of date, I don't know. If you're certain this was working previously, with both the various spawn0 body mods installed and the Unique V Rig Framework installed, I can investigate further, but I need a list of file names that you are using from the spawn0 mods. There are too many options for me to cross-check them all.
So got it finally to work, but I've deleted Spawn0 body creator mod and just installed normal body mod (newest) and different version high poly body. So everything works right now. Thank You for your time and help :) BTW, does patch 1.61 conflicts with this mod? don't want to risk it :D
I'm glad you got it working! It sounds like there may be something specific about the body creator mod that is the issue- I'll need to look into it.
I haven't had the chance to test this with 1.61 yet, as I haven't had the chance to download the update; hopefully I will be able to check either tonight or tomorrow.
I do not expect it to break, but I cannot be sure. Even if this mod itself does not require an update, you will need to be sure to update Archive XL, Tweak XL, and RED4Ext.

Is there some other incompatibility?

spawn0 - BODY CREATOR
spawn0 - HIGH POLY BODY
spawn0 - BODY MOD - better body shape - (Panam and Judy body mods)
And well I'm using all of the clothing mods by spawn0, but i don't think they are relevant.
And used this: spawn0 - LOF - Load Order Fixer
