It works but only in the base game. As soon as you add PL it has new textures for the carts that overwrite these ones. Which does suck cause I enjoy seeing the blue trams going around so hopefully it gets fixed.
hi. i tried to add the mod but it seems its not working. I pasted the contents of the archives file in "Cyberpunk 2077/archive/pc/mod but that didnt help. I then tried adding the archives folder in the RED launcher that didnt work either though i didnt paste the info because the material overide info is there.
Did you extract the files first to a separate location and do you have Material Texture Override Installed ? https://www.nexusmods.com/cyberpunk2077/mods/5266
Metro System is updated, so installation guide needs to be updated too. There is no 'self.trainObject.name = "Vehicle.av_public_train_b"' in 'train.lua' anymore.
Just noticed this after I updated Metro System. It now has its own option to use blue metro car colors, but the additional wagons no longer work becuse the .lua file has apparently been recoded extensively. EDIT: Just realized the new blue wagons of the Metro System update don't match these at all.
That would be awesome. The texture replacer still works fine with the Metro System update, but not the mesh. It looks like the train definition in the .lua file has changed since v1.3, but I can't figure out how it calls for the mesh it uses.
Was a big fan of your FO4 assets when I was modding it, very nice to see you working on this game now. Thanks for sharing your work.

Yeah, it's definitely a mystery for now

No problem - happy to do what I can with my limited Cyberpunk modding knowledge
Hi there! Any luck with the new metro update? It's just not the same without this mod and I catch myself driving instead of taking the scenic route as I did in the previous update because the small default train just looks off compared to yours.
Edit: Yeah maybe wait for the next update before you take a look, current Metro mod is causing CTD's on loading saves.

I took a look at the new update's files a few times, but I couldn't figure out how it works even after opening the archive in wolvenkit. And yeah, the update seemed to have some bugs anyhow. Kept seeing the LOD mesh of the bus spawn with the train and fade out as a train arrived at the station. I might just wait for the next update.
It's possible, but remember that Metro System was made with only one car in mind. Two cars looks visually decent enough despite the fact that there's no bending animation between the cars, but three cars makes the whole train noticeably clip through the track whenever it goes around tight bends.
It´s not working for me, strangely it shows up like another user wanted below on the comments, orange trains but without those prison bars, I installed both legacy mod deployment and RedMod deployment, and both of them show up in the same way (I have the metro mod installed btw, in case that could cause an incompatibility)
That's pretty odd. It's a long shot but maybe this is needed? https://www.nexusmods.com/cyberpunk2077/mods/5266 It doesn't seem like this mod should require any material override things though, because it only modifies existing materials and meshes. The Metro System mod doesn't alter the train appearance at all as far as I know, so it should be compatible with this. At least for me it is.
Yeah it worked!!! Thank you so much, I installed that override mod and it began working and now it shows correctly. Again, thank you so much man!!! I don´t know why it wasn´t working though, who knows
"if it's an archive redmod like this one is just take the .archive file from inside and put it in your mod folder.. lol"
"As noxide1234 said, you can put the archive in "Cyberpunk 2077/archive/pc/mod" and it should work despite being a redmod"
Oh thanks. Didn't know that. Will give it a go.
"What's the reasoning behind not using redmod pros & cons compared to manually putting in game folder?"
Unfamiliarity on my part.
Also kinda lazy to having yet again install software just to be able to use mods I'm already using. And there's also the fact that of the over 350 mods in my game, not even 25% of the modders, have bothered to develop a Redmod version. Let alone that some modders came up with some awesome mods to be installed the good old archive way only. Which is saying something. Am just used to manually input mods.
It's alright to use Redmod. I just ignore mods specifically to be Redmod installed. no need to take heed.

Edit. Oh, Redmod...Not using that yet. Bummer.
