To make sure this mod works, give it a higher load order.
In Vortex, you can change it in Load Order tab. Just drag this mod to the top of the list. And don't forget to deploy mods after changing the load order.
this is just BlurBegone? https://www.nexusmods.com/cyberpunk2077/mods/8105?tab=files whats the point of this mod when blur begone is better. is there anything different with this?
Seems to work fine with 2.01+FL on Steam. I'm using the "no intro videos" mod as well and game runs fine. Tested in areas i know were blurred like "stash" and other areas and works perfectly. Manual install. ty for the mod
As of 2.02 this mod is breaking the game on startup for me. When I start Cyberpunk 2077 with mods enabled and this mod installed, the game freezes after displaying intro videos and doesn't display the thing that says to press spacebar to skip. If using a mod to disable intro videos, the game simply freezes where it would normally display the thing that tells you to press spacebar to skip. If you wait, the game never proceeds to the main menu.
If I use Cyber Engine Tweaks to disable the intro videos and the "Breaching" thing where you have to press spacebar to continue, then this mod breaks that functionality and the entire "Welcome to Night City" video plays with no way to skip it.
I've tried reinstalling all of my mods, and disabling them all one at a time. This seems to be the only mod causing issues.
The page for the Cyberpunk 2077 Vortex extension says the issues with Redmod were fixed in 2.01. That being said, I think this is the only Redmod formatted mod that I've been using lately, so I don't know if it's only this mod having issues or if it's all of them.
I tried the "b4 Spiked Chokers" mod today, with the CET tweaks, and had EXACTLY the same 'full video no space prompt' issue you're reporting. So it might just be Redmod.
I guess they must have broken something again in the 2.02 update, since that's when I started having issues. I wonder if we should report it to whoever makes the Cyberpunk 2077 extension for Vortex, or if we should report it to CD Projekt Red (assuming we can figure out how to do that).
I can't seem to get this to work with 2.0+PL. I've been in base-game only locations and the blur is still there on the glass: starting apartment stash room door, fridge-like containers with glass doors, etc. I've cleared the r6/cache, reinstalled the mod from scratch, I have all the usual potential requirements (updated and current), and have Cookedprefabs Nulled installed as well.
Not sure there's anything else I can do to try and make it work on my system.
It's number one in the load order. And indeed I have mods enabled with GOG, as well as other mods working with RedLauncher.
It does sound like it's being overridden by something else, but I can't find any other mods in my list that I can think of would affect it in any way--unless you count Material and Texture Override. I'm surprised I'm not seeing others having problems like I am though, if that were the case.
If Vortex deploys the mod correctly, 1. You will find the file "Glass - Blur Remove.archive" in the following path: \Cyberpunk 2077\mods\Glass - Blur Remove\archives\
2. Check "\Cyberpunk 2077\r6\cache\modded\mods.json", open the file with text editor. You will find "Glass - Blur Remove" on the top of the list.
If anything above is wrong, that means something is wrong with the deployment of Vortex.
I don't have the ability to open RedLauncher separately from the game. The good news is I may have found the solution to my issue. I noticed that there's an additional option in the Vortex menu to start Cyberpunk "with REDmods enabled" which is apparently different than the normal way of starting the game.
Finally, when I had copied the r6\cache\tweakdb_ep1.bin file into the r6\cache\modded folder, it started up properly and, when I loaded my save, the glass is properly transparent. Hopefully this will help anyone else with a similar setup as mine who has had the same issues, until CDPR patches the tweakdb_ep1.bin problem.
Thanks for your help thus far Zyd. It's always awesome to have great modders who care about others helping them with their game.

Yes, there is conflict; But it's just a question of loading order...

I think the problem might Redmod itself.

CDPR turns off the button after you upgrade the game to patch 2.0.

All of this is correct. It just doesn't work for me. T_T
make sure the "Enable mods" button is active in RedLauncher
After attempting to start the game this way, it threw a TweakDB file error, to which I found a solution on Reddit: PSA for people experiencing the "corrupted or missing TweakDB file" error when running the game with mods : cyberpunkgame (reddit.com)

Some glass in dogtown may remain vanilla blur, because I have not changed any assets in the DLC.
Maybe you should unistall the mod and redownload it.
