with 2.12 patch whenever I'm using any of your mods I can't use mouse, keyboard, or controller. When I disable them, I have no issues. Is there a fix for this?
Ok, after testing things out by through-out investigation with Redmod loadorder. Redmod loadorder is entirely handled by folder name, alphabetically.
And no, wkit loadorder doesnt help, even if you change the order, deploy and re-create a new mods.json file, it will revert the order back to alphabetical. Seen when you reset wkit, the order reverts to alphabetical as well as in the .json in /modded folder.
So, to have correct loadorder, rename the FOLDER withinCyberpunk2077/mods.
This will hopefully be patched in the next Redmod update.
yea prefixing means to just put zz_ or 00_ in the name depending where you want it to load. Works for both the folders of redmod AND normal archive files.
So 00_ would overwrite 01_ and that one overwrites 02_
zz_ being at the bottom means it will be overwritten by anything above it.
So loadorder would look like;
##_ (hashtag will always make files go above numeric values) 00_ 01_ 02_ zz_ (first to load, everything above t will overwrite if they have same files)
Indeed. Best way to achieve so would be to make it load last, so peeps would need to add a Z at the begining of the file name, for example, if you don't wanna reupload it with said change. And indicate this in the description, since peeps don't tend to read in general, and unless they run into trouble, don't really check posts/comments xD
I mean this directly conflicts with my Lipstick Overhaul, which is a redmod version (which can be installed as a normal archive obviously). So this pretty much forces people to start using wolvenkit, or install both as a normal archivemod in the old folders and prefix them.
Since no-one is going to manually edit the mods.json in the "modded" folder either.
Unlike Creation Engine this game applies the first mod rather than the last.To use it as a base it would need an alphanumeric value that puts it below anything it conflicts with. Or at least it does for those in the old archive folder. I assume Redmod ones are the same, right?

I've added zz to the non redmod version and not sure if I'm even doing that right either lmao
