To make sure this mod works, give it a higher load order.
In Vortex, you can change it in Load Order tab. Just drag this mod to the top of the list. And don't forget to deploy mods after changing the load order.
I'm still playing patch 2.13 at the moment because I want to make sure that the mods I'm using work with the new patch first Does the mod also work with the latest patch 2.2?
Hi, I don't know where to put this as I'm not sure what is causing this but this seemed like the best place... I'm using this mod and it seems to work but now even if I don't have the mod active/installed the surface of all water in my game is completely see through... however I'm pretty sure that the mod is working as when you dive into the water it is the blue that it should be... does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this? (I'd love to attach a photo but I can't from my computer..
Hi sorry, I don't use redmod so i'm not sure where to put this. I'm pretty sure I can manually put the .archive file in the "mod" folder, right? But what is the .json file? Does that one need to be put in "mod" too? Or is it not necessary? Thanks
I mean cause this mod isn't lore friendly as water 2077, at least if you're not using the green version. The water in the night city is supposed to be anything but good looking and drinkable lmao
It is lore friendly. Toxic water can lookvery clean. The brown color in water is caused by dirt/mud particles suspended in the water. Those particles naturally sink to the bottom in large still bodies of water, and the water will look clean. The actual harmful substances in the water are usually not visible. (Although there are naturally occurring sulfuric compounds in volcanic lakes, that are deep blue, and make the water both more alkaline, and more blue at the same time)
So, contrary to how dystopies like to color their water, real toxic water looks the same as normal. It just poisons you. Raw, undiluted sewage is brown, but if the water was composed entirely from sewage, no one would live in Night City - or in its surrounding, because the smell would be simply unbearable.
I'm using Paradise option as I could imagine Corpos using chemicals to color the water to look prettier just like you would normally do in your private swimming pool, knowing you won't be also drinking it.

edit: just put the archive in archive file
