I don't understand, the music is available online and you're not selling it. I don't see how putting the songs in this mod is copyright infringement. Maybe I'm missing something.
no the songs are actually licensed by sony or something. though that doesnt mean they wont target you. ive gotten a strike on my yt channel recently for a 4-5 year old video on some copyrighted song in a game. deleted almost every trace of that game to avoid any further complications and did all the stupid stuff yt wants me to do so im waiting for it to go away. tbf its better that they dont get in trouble with the law.
I don't know what i'm missing. I've replaced all the tracks, made sure to keep "songInfos" and "metadata" files in the same folder and adjusted the names of the songs to no success. Are there restrictions with the properties of the music like bit rate or song file size? Have i missed something?
The music itself isn't in the file, you must get it yourself due to copyright reasons. Just remember to delete the track number IF it's on the file name. E.g. if it's called "1-1 Aisle10.mp3" (just as an example), you must delete the track number, which in this case is "1-1". Hope it helped (Also, delete the blank files)
Edit: They are just blank mp3 due to copyright: "Due to copyright reasons the actual songs are not included in "...\radioExt\radios\200.2 JET SET RADIO FUTURE" folder instead each track is a blank audio of 1m so the station's name and logo is displayed."
You need to manually insert the actual MP3 of the songs in the "...\radioExt\radios\200.2 JET SET RADIO FUTURE" folder. Be sure to delete the blank songs.
The blank songs are there as placeholders and for copyright purposes.
