I'm thinking of redesigning the core implementation to actually read the XML files and extract all possible mappable actions (I'll probably write a parser first) and also allow keyboard binds. Since, at the moment, it overwrites the keyboard binds of mappable actions to defaults.
This mod crashed my game after the first space bar prompt. This is my fault since I didn't read comments before installing. I'm in version 2.2.
I attempted to revert the actions done by using the default restore option in the mod, but that didn't change the result. It looks like it modifies the inputUserMappings.xml file, which I located and which had a modification time that lined up with my use of the mod. But without a clean version of this file, not much to do there.
Steam has an option that allows you to check the integrity of the files on a game (right click -> properties -> installed files). Ran that and it found 2 files to be fixed. It did its thing and the game is running again. Cheers!
Same, didn't check the comments like a dumb ahh. I've downloaded the original input.xml file from someone who uploaded it on nexus and that fixed it. Leaving it here in case somebody needs it too: https://www.nexusmods.com/cyberpunk2077/mods/15512?tab=posts&BH=0
Unless I missed something it's not meant to be used in game. You're supposed to extract it somewhere and run the .exe file, which will try to detect your game directory.
However I can't get it to work. Even if I don't edit anything and just save the file as is the game will crash on main menu
For whatever reason changing the button for quick melee just breaks the game, 2 important files just get deleted and the game will crash at the main menu because of it which forces you to verify files to get them back. Is there really no way to move quick melee to RB? Everything else works fine

Is there a way to switch up R2/R1 // L2/L1 for combat & vehicle settings?
I need this so bad…
it f*#@ up your InputUserMappings.xml and make game crash when in to game menu

Although do let me know if you get it to work on 2.0
Maybe I did something wrong on my end
Did you try to save your changes ?
