Could somebody who's gotten this mod to work in recent history explain how they managed to bind jump to their scroll wheel? I've tried the method that the author linked a few posts down from this, and it didn't work. Made sure to unbind my keys in game and change the config file, but nothing happened. Then I tried a different method https://www.speedrun.com/cyberpunk_2077/guides/256iu, and that method just crashes my game once I reach the start up screen.
I just wanna bunny hop man. If anybody could p l e a s e explain exactly how they bound scroll wheel to jump, I'd be incredibly grateful.
Just tested with Cyberpunk 2.0, and it still works. I've been pretty absent on the forums, but I appreciate the interest / feedback. I pushed a small update based off @jeffdreams's post. Thanks for the suggestion!
An exciting note regarding this mod's functionality: it seems Cyberpunk's default (unmodded) player movement has been updated with some form of inertia. Not sure when this change happened, but this means no more sharp turns upon landing! Bunnyhopping with this mod in Cyberpunk 2.0 feels a lot more CS-like in my testing. This is exactly the movement behavior I had wanted when I first released the mod. I hated the sharp turns upon landing but I had no idea how to solve it. I wasn't expecting CDPR to be touching movement after release, so this is a welcome surprise.
As for incompatibility with other mods (e.g. wallbounce, parkour), this mod is fairly minimal, so I was hoping there wouldn't be conflicts, but clearly that isn't the case. I'm honestly not that skilled a modder at this point to understand and resolve conflicts with other mods, unfortunately. Thanks all.
Dude, thank you for the mod! I can actually wallbounce into a tap strafe now thanks to the airstrafing, I feel like I'm playing apex/titanfall in cyberpunk XD (I also wish we could bind jump on spacebar and scroll wheel up/down together so its even smoother).
worked for me aswell - issue is: it triggers double jump if used. possible solution would be to have double jump after holding spacebar for a splitsecond, kinda charging it like the charged jump. this would enable you to bhop and double jump at will - if anyone could make this mod pls do so and tell me!!
