You must modify this part of the code in ammo.tweak:? statModifiers += [ { statType = "BaseStats.Quantity"; modifierType = "Additive"; value = -1; // THIS LINE IS WHAT YOU MODIFY } : ConstantStatModifier ];??
in your case, you would want to change it to have a higher negative value, you can find the default values under Cyberpunk 2077\tools\redmod\tweaks\base\gameplay\static_data\database\items\ammo\ammo.tweak as this is the file that I have modified. Every common in-game ammo type has a modification to the default stack size here; you can change it as you see fit. for reference, the default value for HandgunAmmo here is -999499
I've just made a clean install of the game, and it fails to launch when this mod is enabled. If it's all mods period or just this one I can't tell yet. I have cdprojektred launcher enable mods, the gauge reaches 80% and then it says that something went wrong.
this mod conflicted with my other mods (virtual teller, let there be flight, tweakxl), etc, is this a thing with all redmod 'mods' ? it took me awhile to fix it, deleting the cache folder didnt help and somehow was forced to redownload 15 gb when i verified (lol probably some other issue on my end but it was fine before i enabled redmod for this mod specifically) anyways, regardless just hoping other redmods dont have this confliction EDIT: Found a different mod that used CET instead of redmod. which shall be what i use in the meantime lol https://www.nexusmods.com/cyberpunk2077/mods/5040?tab=files
this mod shouldn't conflict with TweakXL and Virtual Atelier after clearing the cache, odd. I'll have a look at let there be flight conflicting. were you using Cybercmd with it? or no
Edit: Cyberpunk launched fine for me while using let there be flight.(Note: I am using Cybercmd so that may be the fix if you didn't use in conjunction with this mod) ?Gonna list Cybercmd as a requirement now just to make sure.
Why doesn't work for me? Always stops at 80% progress then stops. always shows me error messages.

I've tried both mod file with your instructions and still doesn't work?
I didn't know about the launcher, though i ran into an off topic problem, when i try to run with mods on, tweakDB refuses to work and it aborts. (Edit: had to create a modded folder for it to properly launch, now i will test out) Yes i put the mods folder in Cyberpunk 2077, i dont know if it's supposed to be that folder exactly or a deeper folder (Edit 2: i think it's working now, my shotgun ammo has gone over 100, which i assume was the cap before)
I freakin love you. I personally don't consider this a cheat, more of a convenience. I dislike having to go into the menu every 10-15 minutes or so to craft a stack of ammo. I have a crapload of common crafting materials. After using this mod, I went from 13k to like 1.5k lol
Edit: Wait, nevermind. It's a bit cheaty. Ammo pickups are also massively amplified. kirbystarfighter, would you be able to upload an alternate version that only increases the ammo cap, and doesn't change pickup, sell, buy or craft values?

Happy Tweaking! :)
But, I can't figure out does it works? In meaning of looting the ammo.
Any tips?
