Isn't there a famous mod that do exactly the same? Do this do anything better?

According to that mod description, it does almost the same thing.. the only difference is that this one changes the timeout to 0.04 instead. AND it works for 1.6, the other doesn't because some lines changed with the update

The mod does the exact same as the original mod (setting both craft and disassembling timeouts to 0.01). However, if you were to install the original mod (made for an older version of the game) it will break your game in many ways. For example not being able to holster your gun anymore because it is not properly defined in the file

Could i just change the craft_item and disassemble_item time down to 0.01 instead of using this mod? I have another mod that messes with the "inputContexts.xml" file.

I too would like to know this, I have a bunch of mods that I merged the inputcontexts file for and would like to keep the changes for.

EDIT: I compared both this file and the vanilla inputcontexts file and it seems those are indeed the only changes this makes so should get the same functionality by changing those values.

yes. there is no need to actually install this "mod" .. all you're doing is changing the timeout variables for craft and disassemble in your inputContexts.xml file .. once you learn to do it yourself (extremely easy), you won't need to install any files from this page or the original mod page.  If you ever reinstall the game, just go back into the file and change it again.. same as any other settings.

You can set also choose whatever values you want, dont need to use the exact values that this mod uses.. the smaller the number, the faster it will be (0.001 is functionally instant.. quick click or button press will activate the craft/disassemble action)

      As other comments stated, yes
I have changed the mod's description to allow multiple options when considering this mod (explaining how to mod yourself in-case you have an existing modification to the file)
      Thank you

Actually you can instant craft things without downloading this mod, and here's the tutorial.
-First, go to your game directory(if you're using Steam, simply go to your game library and right click on "Cyberpunk2077", then click "Properties", "Local Files", Browse"),
-Then, search for "inputContexts", open it with a editable tool(I use the Notepad).
-Finally, use ctrl+F to search for "hold action="craft_item"" and change the timeout to the value you want(0.01 for instant crafting)
PS: you can change other timeouts if you like, but remember not to touch anything else besides the numbers.
    Hope this would help:)

Can you make a version of this that uses Input Loader? so that this is compatible with other mods that modify inputContexts.xml and/or inputUserMappings.xml?

Remember that you can mod it easily yourself so you don't have to rely on this every update! How-to steps are in the description
