I will also get it out of the way and recommend y'all don't continue using 3.0 if you still have it. Looks fine when you're in the city, but if it's raining, as soon as you approach the badlands or get near the dam in the SW part of the city it gets almost unbearably bright and washed out.
Looking forward to the update, as your work makes the game look complete.
lol can see why not for 2.0+ I thought the sudden overexposure bug was bad in the legacy envs on 3, wow this is like whiteout going from downtown south past the color light tunnel art, wow.
The bug you're encountering isn't a result of the env specifically per se, but the game... or, perhaps, a user error. Myself and plenty of other people aren't experiencing this bug, but it can happen and it's why WeatherMancer is a requirement since it was released. Having multiple ENVs installed at once can cause it, old save games can cause it (because vanilla and mod bugs will often bake into save files), and sometimes the weather just simply breaks. When 2077 released, you could cause the weather to change in specific parts of the map just bumping into another vehicle. I am not making that up.
That said - had you read the description you would have known not to install this.
I'm totally appreciative of your mods and replies so don't take this the wrong way, the fault is on my end for sure. I still have a 1.63 standalone backed up and might try it there at some point no problems. I've been going mad trying combos all over lately as really I'm very done w the story so mods and the mind blowing graphics are what keeps me going with this game lol
No I read the descp beforehand but I like to try because really all modded games are different, I like tinkering and do have a witches brew kind of in the lut/env mod aspect. I use nova envs(and others as I like tweaking tbh) don't get the exposure prob that I got from the latest fuji basic env and legacylowenv as I don't use 200mb mods for anything, too heavy. I don't think he uses more than just standard clouds and weather is likely why I don't get the overexposure there. I liked the look of this but not as much as the moodier weather of legacyenv though and yeah as I said I know why you say not to use it on 2.0+ but tried it anyways, why not? Kinda the fun of modding in this area it's not going to nerf my game or anything.
I like the look of your envs better the darks are darker more crisp deeper blacks not just darker blues I get w nova, not as blown out as nova that have the more bloom and color grading warmer, but yeah maybe it is the weathermancer req which I don't have installed. Your luts and envs are more realistic looking imo but I like the moderating effect that nova stuff has on them so a combo is best there for me. Thanks again for all your work and replies.
Oh you, well I'll take a look at Legacy again sometime to see what's up. It's kind of hard to mitigate because that LUT is a refined version of the vanilla LUT, I think... I made that thing 3 years ago, then it sat on the shelf until after 1.5 proved CDPR weren't bullshitting the public on fixing the game.
The problem with Legacy has always been the previous eye adaptation settings, which mitigated FP over exposure when driving, were too dark in interiors during the day. Now exposure works most of the time but may be too bright in FP when driving during the day - similar to vanilla.
As for using 1.63 with 2.1 - that's just simply never going to work because of changes made by CDPR... which oddly addressed none of the standing issues we had before 2.0. The game's first issue with exposure is that CDPR did not setup independent post-processing volumes for the interiors, everything is hooked into the weather; so your choice is over exposed FP driving or under exposed interior lighting. The second issue is the LUT structure - aside from the green darkwash, the vanilla LUT is photo real - in that it's the kind LUT that gives you results as if you're looking through a camera... and comes with those trappings.
Fuji/Kuria/Show mitigate this largely via a different LUT structure which is more natural in terms of color and light range, but you lose the filmic look that Legacy and Vanilla bring.
yeah I always assumed cpdr just used a global autoexposure and it's terrible in tw3 really hard on the eyes if you play for a long time. I don't have the hidef version just the 1.32 normal one so maybe they fixed that idk. I only have an i5, 2060 laptop so I'm fairly limited and don't like jet engine fans so even more limited there.
Oh ok didn't know that about the interiors problem, no worries though it's always compromise unless you do it all yourself to your liking and I'm no mod creator that's for sure. Traditional artist so I usually notice more than most. I like the darks to be black and sharp so therefore the neons pop and get close w nova14a and novastandardENV but then I have to sacrifice WPR-more rain or bleached noirs weather env eh at this point prolly time to find a new game. Can't please everybody either so again no worries. I think this game would have been better set in the PNW-SF for the bladerunner noir aspect which is set in LA but from the visuals/weather looks more like seattle. Neon is better in that atmosphere also. Anyways thanks again and sorry for the trouble.
Take your time boss. I too would like to add in as a GITS fan. Bro this mod is it. I too struggle to play this game without this mod. This MOD is a must for me. So thank you for all the hard work you have been putting in this mod man. Section 9 thanks you for your services.

Do not install GITS 1.63 if you have game ver 2.0 or later.

GITS for 2.1
Almost can't play without it...
Looking forward to the 2.1 update. 👍
