Thanks for naming something now you wanna say what this wayback machine is? better yet save your time cause idc you probably just a troll, youre welcome
Stopped using this with game version 1.62, got rid of a lot of ghost effects and stuff and you don't need this!
This is the only thing i have in my user.ini [SaveConfig] AutoSaveEnabled = false
[Crowds] MinimumSpeedForKnockdownByCar = 5.000000
[Traffic] GreenWaveAveragePredictedCarSpeed = -10000 GreenWaveLength = 0 MaxTimeBeforeGreenWave = 0 MinTimeBeforeGreenWave = 0 - First one disable autosaves - Second one sets what speed cars needs to move in to knock you down - Third one disables the green wave you get with stop lights
Coming back after 8 months.. still can't believe they haven't fixed this crap themselves. Good god. and once you "scare" them they still just disappear. sigh
The hell are you on about? If you fire your gun anywhere within the vicinity of a docile NPC they will cower in fear and remain so without moving until the game decides to despawn them. This can happen even if they're half a block down the road and no threat is present. If you look at them, turn around, then look back, they disappear completely. Have you even played the game?
Honestly I agree. Not all civs would be pussies either. We're in night city for crying out loud. Where's the corpo with a concealed handgun ready to take your ass out for trying to hurt him , you know?
I don't understand why you are still pointing such problems out. It's obvious the game wasn't complete in many of its mechanics or systems. They did the best they cold before the release date and called it a day. It's not by chance that the next big patch will take months before being published because they will (hopefully) improve all these rudimental systems like crowd reactions, traffic, ai, police and so on...
Except they won't improve any of it, 1.5 is taking longer because they're adding the next gen update to the workload. Game we have now is pretty much final outside a payed expansion.
If it wasn't, they wouldn't have spent over a year doing as little as some bug fixing (with so many still present) plus adding a jacket and a car, nor would they have shown a sharp decline in devs still working on cyberpunk at their latest financial report (available on youtube). Alot of companies are doing "the best they can" these days, BF 2042 recent release was yet another "the best they could". Long as people pay the 60$, half finished broken garbled mess will continue to be "best they can" and good enough.
God, coming back to this really makes me appreciate what they finally did with 1.5. I wanted to turn the game off in frustration every time I'd fire my gun and see a street full of NPC's all eternally crouched in fear.
the reason i found this mod in the first place is because of how skiddish npcs are. For example: you try to stealth into a club to eliminate a target (7th Hell, gig).. you do a non-lethal takedown (chokehold) of an enemy in some back room, and the moment you do this, all the npcs in the whole club start to freak out and run away. It's the most absurd behavior. They behave as if I ran into the club and opened fire into the crowd.. but no, I simply put a dude in a chokehold in a back room where I could not be seen or heard
In fact, the same thing happens the moment you open a door leading to a 'hostile' area (off limits area). open the door and everyone goes ballistic. smh
I found that NPCs are even more skiddish in 1.5+ then before, the slightest trafik violation makes the NPC drivers go haywire and crash in to each outer regardless if i have this mod installed or not.
Has the...altgeneralai.ini...anything to do how fast / often the enemies that are located at one specific spot is spawned, why i ask is that the tiger claws that are terrorizing some civilians just under the garage house at V's first apartment is spawning in direct after you sleep?
Yes, and it still looks better than the one from patch 1.5 because it looks more realistic with a bunch of cars parked everywhere around the city but now you have to keep the crowd level to medium or you will see a bunch of car accidents everywhere.
I am assuming this mod is now obsolete with the new patch seeing as how they touched on alot of what this mod does. Would love to hear from the mod author as you did a fucking stellar job with this mod man. wish you got the proper recognition you deserve after CDPR yoinked your mod.
