So I really liked the look of the red lines on the street in the posted images, it seems the mod is up and running when i check the JSON file but I see no red lines on the street at all even in the areas pictured? is there anything specific i need to do to activate it like that? Thanks!

Try copying tweakdb and (if you have it) tweakdb_ep1 from (Cyberpunk 2077 > r6 > cache) to (Cyberpunk 2077 > r6 > cache > modded) If you don't have a "modded" folder in that directory then create one. Had a similar issue hopefully this helps you.

Just came back to the game. Havent played it since release and I was instantly reminded how anoyed I was with the plastic road in the inner city.
This mod does a great job at NOT making me look at the road :) looks really decent

    how do i install this?
edit: i just installed it with oldstyle modding, someone need to clear this thing up man, redmod is so clueless to use

the road texture only replace one type of texture, i believe there is more, so when i used this mod, it became weird at some places because it has different tone colour

Create a mods folder next to bin folder and place mods there.

Open Redlauncher and click on settings and enable mods OR if launching directly via steam, add launcher argument '-modded' at end.

Launch the game, you can check mods.json in r6/cache/modded folder after game launch to check which redmods were loaded.

I wonder why some people even make mods like this...

Because they wanted it to look this way and they figured they'd share it with the rest of the people who possibly like it?

I wonder why people even make comments like this.

@xZomosax @wind007 because this is a comment/post section and people are allowed to comment and reply whatever they like. It's called free speech. Don't mean you gotta agree with it.
This mod looks worse than the vanilla ver. The second before and after photos are the only ones that look good.

@Uginia ah yes the classic "free speech" meaning I can go wherever I want talking as much s#*! as I want, questioning why someone even made a mod and calling it bad because of "free speech". Delusional halfwit. This is a free mod created by someone else, if you don't like it then move along to the next free mod created by someone else but coming here saying why even make this mod is pathetic at best.

It's also a WIP so maybe instead of being an ungrateful degenerate, people can actually help the author make it better?

Why the namecalling? Someones justified opinion on a lackluster mod got you this hot and bothered?
Also why should i be grateful for a mod that makes the game look worse, even if it's WIP and the creator put their heart to it, even if they're missing an arm, their mom died, their dog has a cough, whatever. Who's the delusional halfwit, for insulting people for not doing anything bad.

Dont even bring free speech into this.

My comment was to point out the pointlessness of his comment. I get you don't like it. that's fine but his comment was more along the lines of "hey this is trash why even post it?"

His comment was meant to be rude you know this I know this and he knows this. Please don't try to defend this type of behavior as his right.

Now I'm not going to argue with you about this. The point is all of these mods are generally because the mod author wanted the change and they did it and posted it for others to enjoy. You don't need to comment about it being pointless or anything. Dont like it? move along or at least give some feedback on how to make it better.

@Uginia. Take your Free speech to Redshit and Twatter and stay there. I wonder why people wonder why some mod makers disable the comment section. LMAO.

Blows my mind why people would bother commenting on how they don't like a mod instead of just deciding not to use it and moving on. I wonder if they comment on every mod they don't want to use...

Not bad now you can see what's on the street.. which is really more realistic but what is annoying is that you see the same thing every few seconds...I don't know if that's due to the mod
