No crashes for me either. Could be a mod conflict you have or a hardware issue? The only issue im having is this mod eating my frames but that's to be expected lol
Are you using Realistic Traffic Density? I haven't downloaded this mod myself, but I had a recent load order that was crashing the game every time I drove through this area.
I ended up uninstalling all mods and only selecting a few and I haven't had issues, but I saw that the Realistic Traffic Density mod is apparently causing rare crashes, might be this one as I had been using it when I ran into issues.
+1 apparently (I am not using realistic traffic density) Edit : I restarted the game and it didn't happen again, instead I had a huge fps loss, but I don't think it's due to the mod, I've heard of memory leak issues on the rtx3000 series and I have a 3080. I think that's my problem...
Not using this mod, but used to get crashed around that area too (Japanwest Teleport Station). Fixed by disabling Ray Tracing and DLSS (Patch 2.11). In the patch 2.12, it does not crash anymore. Just comment on this incase it helps anyone.
Great mod, but it messes up various ads and posters (ie. very low resolution, blurry). I removed the mod, and all the ads looked normal again. Using various 4K texture mods, and Always Best Quality. Thanks.
EDIT: Putting a "0" in front of the prefabs mod file seems to have helped most of the cases.
You might be running into a bottleneck. If I am not mistaken, there is an algorithm in the base game that lowers some things like cars on the road details, and pedestrians when you are lower than (idk guestimate 30fps). Trying to keep a reasonably smooth experience. I have no hard evidence for this besides some printouts of the games settings, where they name it AI or something. But see if that might be it, and then basically check if not vram- cpu- or fps limited.
I love you and every single one of your mods makes the game substatially better, but dang does it really take too much time to update the changelog instead of a pinned comment that says it's from 2022?
NextGenDistantLODs is exactly what I've been looking for! I pray the work on the megabuildings wasn't too tedious. I cannot wait to see where this goes with other common problem buildings across the map. I recently replayed The Devil ending and the Arasaka estate from the gate is at such a low LOD, its totally immersion breaking. Keep up the good work sosuine, your mods are amazing!!!
Excellent work with (NextGenDistantLODs), although there are things to be done. When looking through the window of the h10 mega building towards the mansion in front, there are objects that were seen even with the vanilla version and now not as in parts, missing pipes, bars, chairs and so on.
PS: I have the conflict checker to organize all the files and give priority to the mods I need and this mod does not conflict with anything.
You are going for the good way. The only thing missing would be the other buildings as an example: the ones outside the kompeki window that look horrible hahaha
Apologize for my ignorance in advance, does this mod change the actual texture, or it just tweaks different stuffs? Since I have downloaded many 4k texture and HD rework project, would like to know if they are compatible, if so, any load order should I be aware?
Not So Good Draw Distance : Increases draw distance for various objects -> far Improved Environment LODs : Improved Environment Level Of Detail -> near Have a look on the pics, if you don't see any difference so leave these mods, they are not for you 🤷♂️
this has more of a impact. it directly mods the items in game, so that only the best quality versions appear. Normally depending on the distance you are at, stuff shape shifts. this mod prevents some not all things from doing that. Cans, boxes, stuff like that. The other mod is a ini and stuff is still going to shift but it will be pushed back a bit further.

Still WIP, so far it only changes the megabuildings (uploaded comparison screenshots).
It is compatible with all the mods made so far and can be used separately from the main part.
Crashes the game when driving around this spot
I've been crashing consistently in japantown
No crashes to report here.

You should make a fusion between both mods
Thanks!
Also which do you think has a bigger impact on performance
