RECOMMENDED: 1. Turn off FILM GRAIN in the graphics option. Not mandatory but it helps a lot visually. 2. My settings in my screen shots are all DEFAULT. Be careful with your brightness (check #3 below) and other options in game. To get as close as to the results that I have. Keep all in-game graphics settings as they are. FoV, v-sync etc is up to you so your mileage may vary. 3. Change your Gamma setting to 0.76 - 1 (This is the baseline gamma setting. Go up for darker or further down for lighter. Adjust to your preferences from there.)
Ultimate Vision has been released for Cyberpunk 2077!
Videos with the latest work along with more still images will be provided in the near future. You are welcomed to add photos to the gallery as I have erased all the older reshade mod images from the mod gallery.
Download the latest file seen in the Files tab.
HEADS UP! All downloads contain their appropriate shader packages! So it's a drag and drop installation! (Review the installation tutorial below for more details) Make sure to follow instructions below, and please use a CLEAN INSTALLATION of reshade for this game.
(That means no previous reshade installation or effects, this is to avoid conflicts or duplication of effect files. You can still use other people's reshade mods as long as they bring their own effect files, too. Just don't install any effects during the installation process that hasn't been covered in the tutorial below!)
Installation tutorial:
Side Note: Working on MANY GAMES across the board and making adjustments for each game so MHW:Iceborne has received the first update of the reshade work done. Other games listed below are going to be given a reshade page as well:
Dead Space 1 - 3 Path of Exile Warframe Skyrim (All editions) Fallout 3, NV, Fallout 4 7 Days to Die Ark: Survival Evolved Grim Dawn and others...
Add your comments! Thoughts and criticisms welcomed. There is no "wrong think" here. Differing opinions are 100% ok as all should be. Thanks for your replies and for trying these configurations out.
Hi! I really love this preset (especially the Alt version). However, ReShade coughs up some error messages when I open the overlay. Nothing major, I can still use it and play fine, but I was wondering where it comes from. It says
Some textures failed to load: V_dirtTex, V_dirtOVRTex, V_dirtOVBTex, V_lensDBTex, V_lensDB2Tex, V_lensDOVTex, V_lensDUVTex
in red font (could also be V__dirtTex etc, can't really see whether its one or two underscores). I completely un- and reinstalled ReShade (4.8.2) before adding your preset files and I know there are no texture files included. My reshade-shaders/textures folder is also empty besides two files (FontAtlas.png and lut.png). Would you happen to know how to fix this or has anyone encountered the same error messages? Deleting ReShade and starting over again didn't change a thing.
Okay, so... Update from my side I talked to a friend about t he issue and it turned out that the problem comes from ReShade 4.8.2 itself. The required texture files aren't included in this version somehow. I replaced it with 4.7.0 (as shown in your vid) and the error messages were gone. Posting this here in case someone else has the same thing and comes across this.
Hi, all. Just found this mod and gave it a whirl but the game keeps crashing on startup. Followed the video tutuorial to install but no dice. Any common missteps I could be committing? Is the mod still supported after the last two patches? Let me know when you have a chance. Thanks.
While in-game, the reshade itself says that some effects failed to load (a few in red). is that normal or should I download all the fx packs? I read through the description and I saw it is a drag-and-drop, but I just want to make sure. The images look sick and I want to experience the full deal!
Also, it might be worth putting in the description of the FPS loss. At 4K there is about a consistent 4-5fps drop. I'll be honest, it's pretty fuckin' worth it, but it might be good to advertise right up top.
Yeah the files are drag and drop - you should try to follow the video provided for installation. Making sure you drop the files needed into the appropriate directory. About the FPS loss - I can definitely mention that. It is a drop of 4-5 fps in most cases, but user rigs will vary of course.
Message me directly for further help on installing the mod.
You're right, I saw a lot of it yesterday when I was playing - I started making changes to that and will update Sigma once I'm happy with the results. The red hue is going to be on a tighter leash and will still be vivid as intended.
I don't want to spam but check the posts above and read the recommendations for settings. An alternative version of Sigma is available. It should alleviate most issues and tame reds and lessen the darkness.
I really enjoy this reshade, the sigma one is actually exactly how I envisioned cyberpunk to look like, though it might not be for everyone. I also agree with what others been writing with the black and red levels, but I saw that you are still working on improvements, which I am sure many of us are looking forward to. Thanks for your work, endorsed.
Sigma Alt is up.Also, some recommended setting changes are posted so you can keep the original Sigma Preset as it was downloaded and simply change your Gamma settings a bit.

One thing, the ambient light setting on Sigma gives exteriors a very obnoxious red or orange hue. Not sure if intended. Had to turn that off.
Still, the colors pop and that obnoxious washed out look is gone. Big thanks! Will come back to endorse once I've gotten some proper play time.
