    Patch 2.2 compatibility: ?
    I don't know if the mod will require to be updated, but core frameworks (CET) will
    In the past, the first CET updates for a new patch have been prone to be not stable and missing important features used by mods, thus I recommend waiting until all core frameworks have been fully updated.

    Game version: 2.21

    It took me a long time to troubleshoot before I got it working properly.
    The most crucial point: In the current game version, even the author overlooked the prerequisite mod for this mod, Codeware. Amazing, right?

    Make sure you've installed the latest versions of the following prerequisite mods:

    Cyber Engine Tweaks
    RED4ext
    Codeware

    Then install this mod, place your music folder correctly, and start enjoying the game.

      Edit: it will work, but you must do this OR IT WILL NOT WORK.
      If you use a mod organizer, you must install RadioExt through that, not manually.
      Statons will NOT be found unless you zip them into a structure as "bin\x64\plugins\cyber_engine_tweaks\mods\radioExt\radios\" and put your stations inside, like a normal mod. You then install the .zip with your stations inside as a manual mod loaded AFTER RadioExt.

      I installed RadioExt to my Vortex using Nexus mod links. I then went and created a new radio station inside "bin\x64\plugins\cyber_engine_tweaks\mods\radioExt\radios\" by creating a new folder called Wave City Radio (my custom radio station). I added custom songs to the folder and edited the json file to a custom radio frequency.

      Is that all I have to do? My radio station is not showing.

      You then install the .zip with your stations inside as a manual mod loaded AFTER RadioExt.

      What does this mean? Fire up cyberpunk and then drop in your radio station into the correct location as a zip?

    I'd love to know how you folk have managed to get this working on 2.2...
    If i install via Mod manager then everything works but the stations dont load, get a red4ext error on CET console
    If i install manually the game wont launch at all

    EDIT: Installing the dependencies manually via their respective GitHub downloads (RED4Exr, CET & Codeware) in combination with FlynnFaust comment further down regarding mod manager install for RadioEXT and packaging your station with manual zip install and load AFTER RadioEXT did the trick

      It very well could be the mod manager just not installing the dependencies in the proper place.  I haven't used a mod manager for any of the cyberpunk mods I've installed. I have about 20 mods plus all their dependencies. (Feels like I have more dependencies than mods really.) The one thing I noticed right away is there's just a multitude of places that mods are put.

      vyvexthorne what Mod manager do u recommend? do you manually install all your mods?

      ive always used Vortex. shall i start modding it manually, and how do you install collections, do you do that manually too?

      @isaX5 How I mod a game largely depends on the game.  I don't always install manually for games, but with Cyberpunk, I'm only using a handful of QOL type mods. I felt that as long as they didn't' try to overwrite one another, I was pretty safe.  If I was going to heavily mod a game and was overly concerned about file conflicts, I'd use Vortex. Usually collections are made to be installed with a mod manager so if you're installing stuff like that, I'd stick to using one.

      I keep all the mod zips in their own documents folder so if I want to uninstall something, I'd first come here to see if there were any specific instructions needed to uninstall the mod, then I'd just look at the original zip file to see what folders / files I needed to remove from the game.  Cyberpunk's file structure is pretty straight forward and easy to navigate.

    is there a way to make tracks play at each time of day like morning/evening or have multiple queues for when each song plays

    Amazing mod! Cruising through Night City on a rainy night while listening to Japanese '80s city pop just hits different.
    I noticed one small issue: every time I summon my car, the radio is turned off by default—even though I have Radio Sync enabled in the settings.
    Is this just part of the game, or could it be caused by the mod? Thanks!

      Yeah, does that to me as well. Doesn't seem to be able to save the radio state like on the normal radio stations. The vanilla stations also muffle the "outside" sounds when driving around and lower the volume during dialogue which the modded stations don't.

      At any rate, still really cool to use when just driving / walking around and in your apartment.

      Like Neus117 posted below. Everyone needs to make sure to install Codeware as well. It's required for the mod to work but isn't listed as required.

    Works fine in 2.21 for me. No PL here.
    I already had Codeware, note that others are saying this is a requirement, though I have not verified this.

    Hello good people

    I want to share a little how to do the radio since I had a fellow member who had problems getting the mod to run.

    Just install the main file via drag and drop then do it the same with the "Example Radio".

    Once done, follow down the example radio and delete all music files and dont delete the metadata.json.
    ----Cyberpunk 2077\bin\x64\plugins\cyber_engine_tweaks\mods\radioExt\radios\ncRadio
    Put your own music files in it I rec to use .mp3 files.

    An additional step I did is to name your station otherwise its called "NC Radio"

    In metadata.json you will find the following lines:

    {
        "fm": 126.3<---Your actual fm within the game the lower the number the higher its on your radio list
        "displayName": "126.3 NC Radio", <---Your radio name can be changed to anything
        "volume": 1.0, <---No need to touch
        "customIcon": {
            "inkAtlasPath": "base\\icon\\ncradio.inkatlas", <---No need to touch
            "inkAtlasPart": "nc_radio", <---No need to touch
            "useCustom": true <---No need to touch
        },
        "icon": "UIIcon.Stealth"
    }

    Its up to you to what you will write down there.
    Ofc you need the needed mods to run it so be sure you have everything up to date to fullfill the requirement.
    Also be sure you have "play with mods" activated when you open the launcher, just in case.

      I followed your instructions and NC Radio is still playing all the old songs that I deleted. I just checked the folder again and its just my new songs.

      Did you "reload all mods" via CET and or was an old song running before?
      Are the songs in the rec file format as I said? ".mp3"

      Possible ways to fixes:
      1. Switch station
      2. turn off and wait a little then back on
      3. There is a mod that allows you to skip songs on sations which work also on custom stations
          Skip Radio Song you have to bind it via CET. I used numpad 1.

      Check if the songs are still listed in the game folder, not the mod folder so (if using steam)

      steamapps>common>Cyberpunk 2077>bin>x64>plugins>CET>mods>radioExt>radios>ncRadio

      and replace those
