This mod itself contains, quite literally, just a bunch of textures that aren't even referenced or utilized by the game without the influence of additional mods. The likelihood that it is preventing your game from loading and also has corrupted your save files seems exceedingly low. By what avenue did you determine that this mod is responsible for the issues that you are having?
EDIT: From what I can see, you have not downloaded the Microblend Resource. For this reason, I expect that your problem is entirely unrelated to this mod. I do not think this is the correct place for you to troubleshoot this issue. A few questions: 1. Does removing this mod allow your game to progress beyond the 'Continue' point? 2. Was this mod the only mod you installed when you began having this issue? 3. How are you installing this mod, manually or using some kind of mod manager?
is it ok to extract them with wkit so i can add them into MLSB? or is there a way i can have MLSB read your microblend archive so i can apply them in mslb. or i guess i could manually edit the json and put your custom microblend path?
I don't currently know anything about actually adding these as selectable options in MLSB, but if you know how to do so, you're welcome to!
I don't mind you unbundling the files if you need to, for your use, in order to add them as selections in MLSB. That's totally fine! To be clear though, I will ask that you do not include my microblend files themselves inside your packaged mods.
Alternatively, if you know how I might be able to go about making them selectable in MLSB, I would love to know! I can't promise that I'll do it soon, but if it's an option I can offer folks, I would like to.
ok great, ill look into how to do that. if nothing else i think neurolinked can help me. much appreciated! thx for the update
Edit: have you used these yourself? and if so, how do you do it without MLSB... do you point directly to the 00_Microblend_Resource.archive in the *.mlsetup.json file?
I have used them, here and there, though either through the half-MLSB half-010 Editor method described on the page or entirely via MLSB. I just messed with the latter in the past few days, and while it is working fine to insert the paths, I can't get the previews to show right. Not yet, at least.
The mlsetups contain file paths to the microblends that they're using. In the jsons, I imagine you would want to change the microblend file path (DepotPath) to that of the microblend that you want to use - a list of the file paths for this mod's microblends is available on the mod description page, and also comes in the 'Microblend Preview Images' download. You should not need to indicate in any way that the microblends are packaged in this particular mod file; the game doesn't care how they are being loaded, only that they are.
