Excellent mod, I'm using it together with Erebus and Forarm decals restored retextured for a clean look, especially happy that it removes the cringe erebus username decal
does this stop the arms from like popping out in places when you punch, like the pistons n stuff? if not, thats ok, its just i have mods for gloves and every time i punch it pops through. thx
This at least works for me... unlike the "clean" mod that does nothing these days... I really REALLY wish someone finally made gorilla arms with skin-colored texture for fingers too. The shiny black fingers look kinda weird.
Clean works for me. VTK + Clean + Arasaka Cyberware + Tattoo.
The knuckles is a separate mesh and can be hidden. It is commonly replaced by another mesh such as Evelyn's gold fingers but the simplest way is to go grab Wolvenkit, add the strongarms_cyberware meshes to your project, open the meshes, go to renderResourceBlob -> rendChunks and disable each chunk by setting the value of lod mask to 0. Ctrl + S to save. Click the install button to pack your project as an archive and automatically place it in /archive/pc/mod/
The Clean Gorilla Arms mod is too clean imo. I just want my gorilla arms to be more in-line with all the other vanilla cyberarms, with flesh tone hands, no knuckle junk, nails that I can change in the character editor, and without all the extra decals.
wow this is the only mod that actually works (at least that i found) with modded cyberware, thank you sir. those red decals,or stickers or whatever that is were driving me crazy.
both mods can be found here, it might take a bit before i respond but i might be able to help a little. Files might be a little different depending on what type off knuckle you chose?
I kind of have a request but I don't want to like be one of those people? If you're ever feeling up for it, would it be possible to remove all of the parts on the arms, like everything, except what you've done with the hands? Your hands are perfection, I just have never been able to handle all of the cyberware lines and weirdness at the elbow. Lol (I seriously end up not using any of the arm cyberware because it's all just too much for me) I appreciate any time and effort <3
hmm.. id have to see how that mod works.. at first glance im not sure why it wouldnt be.. im only editing the decal textures. have you tested them together? ill see if i cant install that mod and unpack it to see what they did
author lists all the files that are modified on the info page.. nothing should conflict. if it not working, it means a different mod is conflicting (or the author of the red arms did not list everything properly). test them both together and report back please.
yes. but iprob wont have the time to do it until either this weekend (maybe) or after next friday. Got a big work deadline next week so im a bit distracted. its possible i find the time this weekend.. if not, ill get it done the end of next week
edit: i could also color match to those arms if you would prefer that
ok, i just did all the editing work for it (removed everything), i just need to import it into the mod archive, package it and upload it to nexus. ill do that part ASAP.
Also made a new red version that doesnt look quite as pink as the original. will keep both versions uploaded though
Also noticed that small lettering that was still white/vanilla colored in your screenshot, so i colored that too for all the different color versions. will upload those too when i get the chance
