If you have any problem with the mod, read this before reporting any issues. Comments made that clearly show this hasn't been read will get ignored. If you also are unsure of what something is, read it as well. It's both for reporting and clarification.
What mods are you using on.....? No longer gonna be answering this question, instead I've made a list of the mods that are available for the public that I use on my profile, so check them there. IF IT'S NOT LISTED IT'S NOT AVAILABLE FOR PUBLIC USE
So, what does this mod need from Hair Caps? because that looks like it is in three pieces, and this mod is already in two pieces. So this haircut requires six downloads to function?
Love the hair mods you contribute to the community. Unfortunately, at the cost of not being able to use full body tattoo mods, I can't use them. I don't really understand how it works. There are three meshes that are offered (8,9 and 10) and it takes the tattoos off right and left arms, but all three meshes take away from the arm tattoos.
Not a lot of full body tattoo mods available, but lots of hair mods available. Maybe one day...
The meshes are just a cap model, it's like, if you got a mod that made it so you had glasses permanently, or a shirt. It shouldn't take out tattoos at all.
There's three meshes options since Nim's mod has 10 spots, so if peeps use mods that use hers, they have 3 options in case mods overlap (like, two mods use spot n8 for example, in which case you'd have to choose which one you want to use).
I'm not sure if you mean full body tattoos that are added onto the body (so, painted over it) or the tattoo options in character creation. In either case, it shouldn't matter. The male V I use uses the snake tattoo and I don't have any problems.
Interesting. Yeah, I'm using a full body tattoo mod, which also uses the unique V texture mod. Using five mods for your Melfi hair mod (Love that mod!) and when I combine these, the arms tattoos are missing. If I take out the Caps mesh (I guess) the arms tattoos magically appear. I don't know where it gets fudged up.
I had the Melfi hair and then some things changed and it took me a while to get it working again without the sides being bald. I love your work. Very appealing characters with lots of style. I'm sure I'll go back to using more of your works soon. They're perfect.
Could you list me the mods you have installed that are giving you trouble? I want to check or at least rationalize why such weird thing would happen. Edit: wait, maybe it's related to nim's mod? Like the more head meshes one. I'm not sure what Unique V uses, so maybe there's some kind of overlap between the two Edit2: well asked her and she says it shouldn't be posible. Uhm....
Is the body tattoo in the complexion or an overlay?
I'm using the Geometric body tattoos by Kala. Nim's more head meshes is installed as it's one of the prerequisites for the hair. Other than that only using a complexion mod for the face. No eye mods and skin mod is obviously the full body tattoo. All my other mods are armor/clothing or stuff that is not body related.

Funny you ask. I remember having to unequip cyberarms (in game stuff, not mods) to see tattoo. I tried this and it didn't make a difference.
I just retested this: More head meshes. No issue. Full body mod's arms still shown. Caps. No issue. Cap Colors (using vanilla-carbon black). No issue. Melfi hair cap style. No issue. Melfi hair shaved (female). Arm tattoos disappear!
This is just so weird, I just don't have any idea what may cause it, and I can't check directly since I don't have problems on my end :/ Sorry
Edit: got another person with the same problem. Also using unique V framework, so there must be some kind of weird conflict between the two. Sadly that's just out of my uuuhh zone? Again, I only replaced a mesh to it'd load a thing, idk how any of those mods were built or how or why they'd conflict :/
It's ok. I can use your mods without full body tattoos. Thank you for your responses and your awesome mods. And sorry to you and everyone else for taking up a page here.
Haha it's a line from 'Peaky Blinders' a popular TV show in England, about a gang. The main character has roughly the same hairstyle for this mod XD ? https://www.google.com/search?q=thomas+shelby+peaky+blinders&client=opera-gx&hs=eQ5&sxsrf=APq-WBsAH8CYUJnKdmGJyYghExUp2QXpGg:1649871167176&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwj50OCGyZH3AhUKO8AKHet9DP0Q_AUoAXoECAIQAw&biw=1879&bih=970&dpr=1#imgrc=kdCUo3XVhCj1jM

So weird
Does it happen too if you equip the original hair?

And yeah I thought we should have taken this to DMs, but if someone also had this problem they could read about it here, so decided to keep going ^^'
Just kidding, thanks for the amazing mod!
You're welcome!
