By accident i stumbled on this mod today, cause i was searching for a mod to get rid of the annoying noise while busy in menu's or pause the game, it gave me a permanent brain damage, i got really tired of it, and then this mod.... totally by accident i found it.... I can not thank u enough for this mod, i got almost 200 mods running and this is by far the number one for me, Finally i can scrap junk, and craft my stuf, dress up my V So from me to you a million kuddoos and endorsements
This mod is perfect! I actually almost cried fr. If you have sensory issues and want to never hear that stupid whistle again, I highly recommend this. Vortex compatible and no other mods necessary! (As of the day I've posted this)
Is it okay to ask what Metadata Element number did you changed? (In Wolvenkit - eventsmetadata.json - RDTDataViewModel - root - bus/events/.../switchGroup) (Element means, audioAudioEventMetadataArrayElement)
There are almost 30k Elements so it was really hard to find the mod's changed Elements It will be really thankful if you can help
Open the eventsmetadata.json file (inside base/sound/event), then search for xxxxx (that's five x's in a row), then you will see what I edited to stop the noises.
My mod is a bit more complete, additionally covering the main menu humming as well as the scanner humming, optionally.
I just want to say that in all my years of PC gaming, I've really never had an interest in modding, but was DESPERATE for something to get rid of that background buzzing in the menus for CP. This mod is a lifesaver as I have sensory issues and I frequently need to pause the game and tab out to do other things but the noise was killing me. This makes playing the game much more enjoyable for me. THANK YOU. Kinda crazy that they don't offer this as a native option in settings to disable that background noise esp since you do need to spend so much time in the menus.
