Tested working with game version 2.21, CET 1.35.0 and Native Settings 1.96
Hello everyone! I just released version 2.5.1, this is a quick patch fix to fix things that were broken. I scrolled through some of the posts here and took the fixes from there, thank you everyone who has contributed fixes.
I'm looking to start maintaining this mod again! I've been very ashamed that I've kind of let the mod die out. So if you come across any errors, bugs, inaccessible packages or suggestions, please let me know and I will try to fix them. Though, I cannot make any promises as I'm also busy with my real job.
One of the first things I need to do is refactor alot of it, and just go through the code. When I made this mod originally I was not a very good programmer, and did not understand OOP, so I'm hoping to refactor it now and make it better.
I've also recently ordered a new GPU and so I am planning to finally play Phantom Liberty. I'm hoping to release a map for the PL area eventually.
Thanks again to everyone who has played this mod, all the support and encouragements and upvotes, and all of you who have contributed fixes in these comments. When I originally released this mod I was working a dead-ass job and was very depressed. While making this mod, I got interested in game development and so I joined a game programming school and have now finished it and I am now a full-time software engineer, and I am just generally a lot happier with my life. Thank you.
OMG thank you so much for update. One of the best content mod. It could look minor but it really changes the game and lets you balance whole progression in natural way thanks to settings
Welcome back! Just updating my mods before i start playing and was glad when i seen this received a new update. Gives me something to do while wandering from mission to mission. Thank you...
And one last update. I got all of them BUT one. The one buried in the new PL cliff area to the eastern side of the big fence, it's buried under that no way to get it. The one in the vendor stall by the stadium NCART you HAVE to murder the vendor to get, if she's just scared and crouches no way to get past her to get it, suggest moving this one somewhere else. 199/200.
You can fix it by changing a line in the 'packages1.map' file found in the: '...\bin\x64\plugins\cyber_engine_tweaks\mods\Hidden Packages\Maps\' folder. Use a text editor to open the file, and change line 217:
nice thanks, be nice to get past that 199 some time I guess lol
Oh btw do you have the stadium ncart one? I sadly had to murder the vendor to get it but if I come back to this game in a while may start this up again w a new run. I'll search the file for it though, thanks again.
That worked for me just had to jump up where it was to get it to register couldn't walk into it and get it to register for some reason. 200/200
I would add that you can find the coordinates for where you are using the photomode which is how I found the stadium ncart coordinates to change.
Original ncart coordinates are: -1580.680 -1967.173 73.044 I would change them to this: -1578.511 -1966.862 74.246 I moved to behind the kiosk where it shouldn't be blocked and no vendor npc in the way so you don't have to murder them to get the package. That's it just change the one here and the other one mentioned above and this works just fine!
Would love to see this get an update. Also if it could give humanity points as a reward with the wannabe edge runner mod. That would add even more incentive. Maybe the locations are based on johnny and V's memories.
Yeah I know... I've been meaning to update it but I think the code is so crap that I want to rewrite it entirely. + I want to make a new map for the new expansion, but I still havent played it so I havent been able to do that either. They also changed the game so much in 2.0 that I feel lost now when I play it, I'm used to how janky it was during 1.0 era. Oh well, excuses excuses.. Hopefully someday I'll get around to it, or someone else will before me.
I hope you'll come back to it, but if not and you're OK with someone taking over, might be good to include in a sticky post? I'm sure some other modders would be happy to build on what you've made.
Now with the maybe final patch 2.2 out there, cheering you up to give it a go to create the ultimate hidden package mod of your and all our dreams. Go, Rattmuff, Go. We are trusting in you.

ORIGINAL:
-1258.165 -2539.130 53.230 1 // Badlands/Biotechnica Flats
CHANGE TO:
-1258.165 -2539.130 62.370 1 // Badlands/Biotechnica Flats
The package will now appear above the cliff, and is collectible.
