I second all the acolades; this was the first mod I installed back a year ago and it's frankly phenomenal. Just being able to see the city alone from a different perspective in itself is remarkable. And I'm blown away that someone has gone to this level of effort designing train stations which don't exist in the real world... just remarkable. The modding community kept this gave from obliteration... That said, I'm running 2.02, having just installed PL (the game straight-up hasn't worked for me since January which I've been furious about since), as far as I'm aware, I have all the requirements, and I've manually installed the mod twice, but I can't see the train stations or anything anywhere on the map. Am I missing something? I notice in this thread some people are saying that the metro system is actually installed in the base game now?! Does that mean that I technically don't need the mod anymore, or am I doing something silly? All advice welcome. Oh, also the mod options don't appear under settings for some reason. Doesn't crash or anything, just nothing comes up.
And yes... thanks for all your hard work. If the guys behind the Time Dilation Overhaul and the Droid Companions mods (apparently the latter isn't likely to be updated which is a huge shame, and I hope someone else takes it up) ever get around to updating those for 2.02, then it'll officially be the best game ever again. The only other thing which is essential to play is the Quickslots mod, which I'm pleased to say works flawlessly. I think it's utterly daft that you can't use optical camo and grenades at the same time, but anyway...
While I'm on a rant, why the hell did they get rid of all the decent grenades anyway? I dunno.
Forgive me, I'm being dense. For some weird reason, ArchiveXL was flagged as a virus on my system and didn't download properly, so when I dragged it over, not all the files went. I checked the console and it said the Metro was disabled because ArchiveXL was missing. I've got the settings menu back up again now, so I assume it'll work in-game. Thank you!
You created and maintained easily the most immersive and IMO most essential roleplay mod the game had. Feels good man. So essential that the devs had to go back to near square one and finally implement it years later despite having said earlier that it was never planned.
Thanks a lot to you, Strider and MadHun for making this posable for as long as y'all did, if it wasn't for everyone working on the the much wanted additions we might not have gotten an official version. cant wait for the official metro and for what you'll do with it.
don't be sad. You did such a good job, console players were envious of us PC folks who could ride around the city. they wanted to do it too. also, don't forget there are many players who cannot upgrade to 2.0 who will still be using your Metro, those who don't want to upgrade to 2.0 will also still use your mod. I'm lucky...i have a dedicated (small lol) ssd *just* for Cyberpunk2077 and while my 1.63 Legacy is (currently) unmodded, my 1.61 is still using your (older) 1.3 version and that is not going to change.
(my inner loot goblin is now wondering....can YOU improve on what they have built? I've always wondered why there is no direct line to the Columbarium? after all, there is a kind of 'bus stop' but no busses run in the city.)

Agreed, i want to walk to the station and get on the cars and go through the confusing architecture with all the signs to guide me. I am not kidding. The official metro is better visually at stations and the cars themselves for more mimicing real mass transit, but it could be perfect just by imitating the extra aspects too. Add random pre existing merchants too around its literally a perfect metro system. Please let us get someone who will mod this in someday lol.
Check your antivirus history; ArchXL can bee seen as a virus and may need to be reinstalled. Get all Mod Dependency updates available as well (For game ver 2.11, CET, ArchiveXL and others updated almost right away)
Thank you for this mod, the problem is that you don't explain whether it's still compatible because version 2.1 is useless make-up. I tried it once and it doesn't make any sense, it's messed up and not even finished, so I stay in my car and on foot, and I don't give a f*#@ about the metro that lands you where you don't know where, the same goes for flying cars. It's incomprehensible that this isn't in the basic game... I don't know, a flying taxi for example! Well done. Try to work it with the basic version. ;-)
