The tattoos work with the VANILLA BODY ONLY. Because I used those textures to make the mods (sorry). I will try to make new tattoos in the future for the other bodies.
You can hide the duplicated tattoo with cyberarm mods such as Arasaka Cyberarms, or use Unique Arms so that V's arms will use separate textures and not mirror the tattoo on both sides.
No it happens because male V has the same body texture and male NPCs, he doesn't have a unique one. I think you can use other mods to remove them though, I just haven't looked into tattoo modding for this game in a long time, will try to update everything soon.
any chance you can tell me what cyberarm mod you are using for male and female v? cuz theres a bunch and almost all the ones i find are either both arms or fem v only
For some reason the tattoo only shows up on the left side of the arm and nothing on the right arm, did I do something wrong or is this because of the new version?
Edit: I found what the problem was and also how to fix it. Apologize for my impulsive question. Pretty new to modding stuff without a mod manager so I thought I did something wrong.
Yes it adds it to both arms, if you want to hide one side or another you'd have to install a cyberarm on that side. There's no other way of doing it since the arm textures were made this way by CDPR.

edit: okay i tried to remove more body meshes but it didn't shange anything so it's not that i don't know what is responsible for the mod to not work
