Bit of an odd question, but I'd like to set my XP rate to be something that isnt a multiple of 10. I'm pretty sure you can set it in the files pretty simply, but then in-game it visually rounds up to the nearest multiple of 10. Anyone know how I'd go about changing the sliders to move and display in increments of 5 rather than 10?
If i do 0,5 lvl will i hit level 60 by the end of the game?? I found here that one bro played 0,5 lvl and finished game 45 lvl not even 60z i wanna hit lvl 60 and still got like 30% game left to play with. So whats the best tweak for lvl for that? 0,8? Or i wonder if i even need that mod for my ideas?? (Main game + PL + all gigs and side but not all NCPD, i find them boring)
I'm getting a weird bug where AR and SMG kills are giving Solo and Headhunter experience instead of Shinobi experience. I've isolated it pretty well I think - I've tried it with multiple different SMGs and ARs, and I've killed unconscious guys when nothing else is going on, and I still don't get Shinobi XP for AR/SMG kills. I'm not playing a Blades build, so this is making it really difficult to level Shinobi (the levelling from dodging/sprinting etc. is really marginal). Is it possibly related to this mod?
I'm running a pretty lightly modded game, with only about 10 non-core mods, and this one made the most sense as a culprit. I looked at the files from the mod and didn't see anything obvious to tweak. Any ideas or help would be appreciated.
This mod can't change which XP type you're getting for different weapons. You could verify that by uninstalling the mod. Are you sure that's the wrong XP types for those weapons? I can't keep them straight anymore since patch 2.0.
When I test with an SMG, Problem Solver, I get Shinobi and Headhunter. The Headhunter is normal because you get it for attacking while undetected, which you are usually doing at least from the start. I am using all of my mods that you listed, and I also tested while setting and not setting XP multipliers for the weapon skills.
Maybe you are accidentally using an LMG or HMG, or not noticing the Shinobi XP (or the game is displaying it long after because it's busy with other notifications), or another mod is changing it. You can check the actual XP count in the skills menu before and after some combat to be sure.
Headhunter (and Netrunner, if you have a cyberdeck ofc) is the easiest skill to level up -- so I give those the lowest multipliers (0.6 and 0.7, respectively). Shinobi I find to be the "hardest" to level up, so I give it a multiplier of 1.0
Sidenote: I'm not sure what street cred actually unlocks anymore besides vehicle purchases, so I'm not sure if there's a good reason to slow down its rate.
My game doesn't register this mod as existing, along with the Silenced Silencers mod. Most of my mods work but there are a few that though downloaded and installed via Vortex, don't exist as far as the game is concerned since the update.
Can confirm this loads in 2.2. I didn't verify that the multipliers were working but the settings work under the mods menu. It's probably safe to assume the sticky post if correct ;)
