As someone who's in a similar boat RN with 1.5 being all wonky with regards to vehicles, I just have to ask: Does this mod still work properly?
I ask partly because I love the way this mod affects the handling, but also because combining this with CVO produces the best possible handling characteristics for my Arcadia Mk. V mod. I recommend DR1VE constantly to people who download the Arcadia, so I'd love to know for sure that it still works so I can continue referring people to it, if that makes sense.
I'm not sure how well this mod worked in the past or what exactly it's supposed to do but i can safely say that it is not working or it is working and the changes are so minor that i just don't notice them. Cars still drive like they're on ice. They turn like shopping carts(some are so sensitive that slightly tapping A or D turns the car into a friggin' beyblade) Bikes still turn like aircraft carriers and so on and so forth.
Really like the weight and feel of the vehicles with your settings but I wanted to make the turning radius a little tighter. I'll be experimenting and adjusting some settings, but If you have a chance could you post a description of what the different ini settings do?
Those two to me feel kinda like, how much centrifugal force gets included, before it kicks off to a more arcady cornering. Can't really describe it right, but this is how it feels to myself.
VelocitySmoothingTime , this is kinda how fast it corners, a lower value gives you a way snappier feel, but it also oversteers pretty brutal then, a higher value makes it more weighty, but a bit more slow in cornering.
The last three feel like they work in tandem, try some values to get your right balance. Hope that helps!
Just wanted to drop by and assure you that your mod is still the best available driving tweak! I'm using CVO too and the two mods really compliment one another. No more floaty... floaty... spin... crash! My favorite cars to drive now are the Gecko and Rattler. They seem to fall into a sweet spot in terms of power, size and handling when vhdr1ve and CVO are running things.
I have been trying driving mods out for days nothing has felt right until i downloaded this ONE! this is the final boss of driving mods, its grippy, allows you to drift at high speeds on any corner without spinning out, and makes every car a dream to drive. I am so greatful for this addition!

WeightTransferMode = 1 , this value gives it that more grounded suspension
ForceMoveToMaxAngularSpeed
ForceMoveToMaxLinearSpeed

Since i personally use Cyber Vehicle Overhaul since a few weeks, too, i made another version that i hope feels balanced if you use it with CVO!
Thank you for this dude
