    Frequently Reported Issues

    I installed the mod but it does not work or I have redscript compilation errors
    1. Try to delete your r6\cache\modded folder and verify the game files integrity, very often it can fix everything.
    2. If you are using REDLauncher and/or Vortex for playing the game then also install cybercmd and repeat step 1.
    3. If you are using Vortex then disable REDMod Autoconversion feature if you have it enabled and reinstall the mod then.
    4. If it does not help check your Cyberpunk 2077\r6\logs\redscript.log file, if you see any errors near the end of the log then upload it to pastebin and drop the link here.

    I installed the mod but do not see the settings menu
    > Make sure that you are looking under "Mod Settings" menu, not "Mods" (which belongs to Native Settings UI)

    I installed the mod but don't see any texts in Mod Settings menu or see weird placeholder labels instead of texts
    1. Make sure that you have ArchiveXL and red4ext installed and working
    2. Make sure that you have the mod .archive and .xl files in your Cyberpunk 2077\archive\pc\mod folder
    3. If you are using Vortex then disable REDMod Autoconversion feature and reinstall the mod.

    I installed the mod but hotkeys do not work
    > Your Input Loader and/or red4ext are installed incorrectly. Check Cyberpunk 2077\red4ext\logs\red4ext.log to make sure that Input Loader has been loaded.

    I changed the mod settings but don't see new zoom values working
    > You might need to reload your savegame to make the game use new values

    Why this mod requires so many dependencies?

    How to change the hotkey:

     - go to Cyberpunk 2077\r6\input folder
     - open ImprovedMinimapZoom.xml with any text editor
     - find and replace IK_F6 with any other hotkey code

    This is Great mod

    I have a big proble with Let There Be Flight Mod. After install the LTBF mod, This mod doesn't work.

    I experimented a lot of times, certainly these two mod conflicted.

    Does anyone who solved thi problem?

      Maybe there is a mod that is in conflict, for that you would have to see the content of the log files to find out or test with only this mod then add the others one by one.

      For my part I tested the latest version of the mod (plus the FR translation mod), and everything worked.
      What mods do you have?

      Can confirm that it's Let There Be Flight that this conflicts with. When 1.61 dropped, I did a clean install and reinstalled every mod I use (over 200) and everything was working perfectly. Once the update for Let There Be Flight finally dropped, I installed it and now the minimap no longer zooms out while driving as well as the roads in the nearby area disappear from the minimap when I enter or exit a vehicle. Uninstalled Let The Be Flight and the issues disappeared.

    Hello, I would like to make a modification suggestion for the mod.
    Modification I made on the mod to test and which I think may be of interest to other people.

    The maximum zoom out that is possible with the mod is "200" but that wasn't enough when I'm in the vehicle and at full speed to have time to see a turn coming. Before, I was using the "Better Minimap" mod and with its "medium" configuration the zoom out was bigger and was fine but since this mod is no longer functional (at least completely, indeed, even if the zoom change is ok, the route markers are no longer displayed) moreover I find your mod more complete with the change of zoom depending on the case or the speed.

    First of all, I think I understand why you chose the value of 200 as the maximum zoom, because beyond that the roads are not completely displayed and are loaded as you go (but the route markers are displayed in full, this I'm looking for).

    So I decided to modify several values ??in the mod in order to obtain a better possible choice for who would like a bigger zoom and I would like to propose it so that it can be added.I didn't go beyond "300" because the game won't display more routes anyway.
    Here are the commented changes I made below:

    File: r6\scripts\ImprovedMinimapZoom\config.reds

    line 77: Maximum value of the "Mod-IMZ-Peek-Hotkey" of the keyboard shortcut
    @runtimeProperty("ModSettings.max", "300")
    line 109: Maximum value of "Mod-IMZ-Min-Zoom" in car at min speed
    (modified only so that the max values ??are identical with line 129)

    Just isn't working for me. I've cleared my cache, and even fully reinstalled my game. I have cybercmd installed. Here is my log file: https://files.catbox.moe/8znmli.log
    I really hope you can help troubleshoot this, because your mod is the only (supposed to be) working minimap mod that I can find and the vanilla minimap is just terrible!

    Edit: Works now with 1.6.1!

      Wait for "Input Loader" and "Mod Settings" updates.

      These two prerequisites are no longer compatible with version 1.6.1 of the game and you have to wait for them to be updated, otherwise it's normal that all the mods that use them no longer work or that the game crashes.

      Nah this has been a problem even before update 1.6.1.. Dev got mad at me for speaking up about it in the Bugs tab and threatened to ban me. It's a shame because I genuinely don't have any malicious intent. I would love to have this mod working and I respect all mod devs for their work. It just simply doesn't work and I don't understand why :( If dev can't figure out why it's not working then I hope they inquire about this problem with someone who can help. That's not a diss or anything, it's just truly what I hope will happen in order for it to get fixed.

      Mod Settings is already updated. It's in the modder's github page https://github.com/jackhumbert/mod_settings/releases
      From my own testing it seems like every mod that has Mod Settings as a dependency is what's causing the crash. So I'm guessing there's currently a problem between the latest version of Mod Settings and all the mods that uses it.

      Would love this as well. The auto-rotating map makes you lose the sense of direction more easily.

      Maybe something we could do is like put some keybinding to "reload" the map sector we are in instead of having to go away and come back ?

      That might be vanilla game issue (or mb you are using too high zoom values), can do nothing here

    I've noticed my minimap zoom stopped working idk when but i took a quick look at the redscript.log file and i found these warning lines:

    It seems like these fields don't work together very well, but I'm not able to find any issue with the Enhanced Craft mod, only the minimap zoom appears to have problems.

      I've just realised that, I'm doing some testing removing the Enhanced craft and the warning involving izoom appears again, so maybe it's something else that's causing my izoom to not work properly.

    The dynamic zoom while driving is great, thanks so much for this mod! 

    For those trying to adjust the various zoom levels, for me they wouldn't activate unless I reloaded a save so if you're having issues try doing that.

    Fantastic mod.  Question though, I can't quite figure it out myself.  Will discoverable things pop up when the map is zoomed out?  For example, before the mod, if I was driving and I saw a tarot card icon pop up on the map I'd pull over and inspect.  After the mod, when the map zooms out during driving, if a tarot icon, or any other object with a map icon is farther away than the original unmodded map intended, will it still appear on the zoomed out map or do I need to be closer to it than the zoomed out map implies?  Hope this question makes sense.

      It does not make a lot of sence for me the mod just affects the widget itself and what it displays and no idea how it can affect what you described
