Have lost interest in this game so don't think I will keep investing time into this mod, I made some additional adjustments and tidying up the code, don't know what else I can do with it, didn't really find a way to make seeing your changes more dynamic and don't see any benefit in playing with other variables other than the ones I already added to the mod...
hey, love your mod, I just have a problem with the pitch setting with all the brennan apollos, it doesn't work for me, it seems to stay at zero even when i change the values
I finally got CP 2.0 to run yesterday with mods. Checked my mod and seems that it's not working properly. Going to check whats been changed so that I can do the update.
Yeah, just realized there's a third option, they changed the variable names a bit and a combat view as well, gonna have to change it up a bit to add that additional combat view... will start working on the update.
I've been looking here and there if there is a way to make the changes dynamic and not have to get in/out bike to see results but so far nothing. Other than that I don't know what other change might be worth to look into.
I thought about this mod and No Camera Auto Centering for a few days, but eventually I chose this.. Auto centering makes me feel motion sick sometimes but I rather choose to look at the ass. I hope someday someone mix those two mod....
I've been wanting to put a 'no auto center' button but haven't had the chance... let me give it another shot playing around the script later in the week. Last time I was messing around turns out some values werent being reflected for some reason.
Thanks for the mod, do anybody else have the character eyes disappearing while watching it with a camera angle above the wheel of the bike? im looking a way to fix that.
Excellent mod but I'm having some trouble tweaking it.
I might not be fully understanding camera option 1 and camera option 2. I'm trying to get it so that when I press Q I cycle between a far away view similar to the default camera, one close up view like the default for this mod, and then back to first person.
I'm editing the values for camera option 1, the "far" camera, and all the values take effect when I get back on the bike except for the horizontal position value. Only when I reload a different save does the far horizontal value take affect. However, this still isn't what I want because then this far horizontal distance becomes the horizontal distance for both the far and close camera. And if I try to change the close camera horizontal position, that becomes the distance for both cameras.
Thanks for sharing this, I think there may be a problem somewhere.. can you do a screenshot of the values you are using so that I can check whats going on?
I've been testing and trying like crazy but can't seem to figure out why this is happening, as if it just decided to not take some values. Don't remember this happening before. Will continue figuring it out...
The horizontal position of the camera is based entirely on which position (near or far) was active before you exit a bike. It updates only when you save-reload or exit-enter a bike.
Using the near camera when you exit a bike will give you the horizontal position of Camera Option 2 (in CET) the next time you enter a bike. The opposite applies for the far camera and Camera Option 1.
This is a good mod right here. Makes the game look way way way more cinematic, and makes me feel like I'm down in the gritty streets of the city with V. Instead of feeling like a tiny mosquito flying high in clouds looking down on her.
I can understand not having a close camera on cars, because we wouldnt be able to see s#*!, but closer camera on cycles is key. Make this mod work with No Camera Auto Centering, figure it out somehow. That mod is also key. In the meantime I'll try to force that guy to make your mod compatible with his
Thanks for the comment, I'm glad you liked my mod and appreciate you enjoying the game the same way I do. It does make a difference driving up close. I made another mod for cars, look at my profile.
don't think you can force people into making mods compatible but am planning on doing a checkbox with that setting in mind.
It's fine, the mod conflict is nothing to worry about, u dont have to waste time trying to fix it. its just a small glitch on V's body from time to time, making it look like shes in the Matrix, its barely noticeable.
i trust your car mod is also awesome, because u seem to know what youre doing. i dont use cars in the game tho, because i spent a long time making V look like a ho and a badass, so i have to see her full body on motorcycles.
also, you can force anyone to make a mod, all you have to do is send them pics of the front of their house, along with pics of scary dolls like the one from Saw. im just kidding, i was joking about the forcing thing.
I understand, tell you what... let me figure out about that conflicting issue and I'll post an update to this mod if I can making it work, plan on working on it this week.
I already spent WAY to many hours trying to find a way to view real time changes to the TPP view that I just decided to take a break on the mod scene.

TLDR:
Hate getting on/off bike trying to guess the numbers for a nice view?, head into Direcreeps files to see their custom camera tweaks based on this mod.
Hello? Based department?

I found out that changing the "Speed Camera" value fix this problem
