This mod is compatible with patch 2.1, when using

What CET version are you using? Tried to use the highlighted CET 1.29.1 HOTFIX with CP 2.12, but it doesn't even load the main menu.

Unfortunately this seems to no longer work with the newest update of CET, if I try to run the game with this mod enabled it will freeze right after Stan says "City of Dreams!" in the intro and I can't even get to the main menu. Please update this wonderful mod!

My game was updated to 2.12, and after CET re-downloaded, only this mod was installed, but there was no setting option in CET, does anyone know what the reason is?

Make sure ALL your core-mods/Requirements are updated for 2.12 (and/or game update 2.12a), and make sure you check if any of your other mods might also need updating. Stop using any mods that have no solid confirmation to be working with 2.12 (/2.12a).

The only CET related option you get with this Simple Flashlight mod, is the On/Off toggle keybind, found in CET's 'Bindings' tab.

If you installed this mod's Requirements (Native Settings UI) correctly...other Simple Flashlight related settings can be found in the Native Settings UI functionality ('MODS' in your main menu screen).

      - Open up CET, go to the Bindings tab.
      - Set what keybind you want (this is the key that will turn your flashlight ON/OFF). SAVE.
      - Done.
      - Enter the 'MODS' (aka Native Settings UI) section in the main menu.
      - Go to 'FLASHLIGHT' tab and make your adjustments (if needed).
      - Done.

Same problem here. The mod has to be updated to current version of CET.

CET 1.29.1 is not available any more and this mod seems not working on current CET. Update would be very much appreciated!

I just did a complete/fresh reinstall (Steam) of my game (nuked all associated old folders+files; fresh re-downloads of all the mods I use; manual installs; no REDmod mods used).

Can confirm this mod is still working hella preem with 2.12a.  ♥

Love the mod, thanks! Though, I do have a feature request, if it is at all possible: could this cast shadows from objects? Currently the light cone seems to go through absolutely everything. No biggie either way!

edit: oh, it seems to cast shadows when path traced. Bit out of reach for my 3090 though :P

Hi! I've checked everything has gone through to the right folder but can't find the toggle flashlight within the key bindings menu. Anyone know if this is an issue with the new update?

Make sure all your dependencies/requirements-mods/core-mods are updated to 2.12 if you're game is updated to 2.12. Especially CET, since you access CET to set the keybind for the flashlight to toggle ON/OFF. Native Settings UI also works fine with Patch 2.12.

Turns out I was just looking in the game settings key bindings and not the CET overlay and I'm just a bit dense. Thank you for the help! :D
