I've spotted too that the spawn position for the nearby spawn is in the air. This is a core change to the physics system by CDPR in 1.3 so I've got no simple fix to correct it.
For the time being then, this mod is broken. I will see what I can do, but I suspect the outcome won't be positive. Sorry folks. The cost of progress as CP2077 becomes closer to a final form!
About the hovering in the air after near spawn, shooting the vehicle or granades, opening the trunk doesn't work. What does bring the vehicle to the ground, is hiting it with the monowire. Maybe by simulating this action after spawn (not by the player, but only codewise) would solve the issue. Or just performing a specific repositioning code.
This mod make spawned cars spawn in the air and for anyone wondering there is a mod that should fix that problem called Hovering Vehicles fix which should fix that problem and it uses Cyber Engine Tweaks
No cheat needed - if you follow one of the NPC character stories you'll end up pretty close. There are definitely some beautiful areas of the game map. World creation is one of the things I think CDPR got right with the game. Beyond that, I won't spoil - so explore the map and enjoy!
Not sure if it's happening for others but no matter where I am, with nothing in front of me, it spawns 1800 meters away, lol. Probably just a conflict with another one of my 80 something mods. The one with the SimpleMenu mod works flawlessly, you just have to use the toggle key first. Anyway, I just thought I would mention it for troubleshooting purposes.
Hi Ved - sorry it doesn't work for you. Actually, Simple Menu and all the various Toggle Summon Vehicle mods all use the exact same method - all my mod does is effectively press the toggle button for you and then monitors when the summon distance gets reset and reapplies it. It's all pretty simple stuff so shouldn't really create any issues. But again, apologies and thanks for trying the mod anyway.
You might find that you need to set the hotkey - toggle it once (to distant) and then back, save the game, reload - and it will work thereafter. If so, would still be of some convenience after the initial hassle. For others too, I'd be curious to know if anyone experiences this problem and whether that solves it.
I've had some interesting spawns myself. Nature of the beast I'm afraid - the spawn position is directly in front of your line of sight. If there's something already there, then all kinds of fun can ensue!
The same can actually occur with the native distant spawning position which often ignores the presence of traffic and pedestrians - though it's less noticeable when it's out of sight.

Thanks for sharing your work with us!

I just want to set it and forget it.
