I am searching now 1 day for a "Reshade" Preset that fits my needs for a better image in game. Till now I can´t say I am satisfied but I guess it depends on my mid range rig with just an RTX 3060 and Ryzen 5 CPU. :D So yeah, why not testing your way of modding the game with Freestyle or Ansel. I had so much graphical issues yesterday even I decrease my res from 1440p to 1080p. The game still looks shitty. Flickering and flimmering streets when I left the Appartment at a sunny day. Although I have the Eye Adaption Auto Exposure fix installed before I read it in your description. I hope with your mod and settings anything is a bit more enjoyable. Just a question: I can´t find the shader support listed from Nvidia website for Cyberpunk 2077?! I wonder why the game isn´t listed, although you confirmed it´s usable in game. Hmm, may not a big thing but I just wonder...
I will let you know if something changes my eye Attention after running your mod. So first of all thanks for sharing an attempt to enhance the game we all care about.
I used to add SweetFX/Reshade/Freestyle in almost every game, but i've stopped after i realize a simple unbreakable rule: Never mess with Frametime (Render Latency). What i mean? Visuals looks a lot better with 3rd party shaders/filters, yet both SFX/Reshade/Freestyle,killing game's frametime (Not Fps/Frames-per-second), and that's matter because the higher the frametime/rendering latency>the worse the actual performance. In example: I'm with 2080ti/9900k/64Gb ddr 4 xmp. In game im with 1440p at 120 frames. Installing/using SFX,reshade or nvidia freestyle,i may have again 120 frames, BUT my frametime goes up,and that's not good. Especially with the usage of Ambient Lighting, the n1 frametime killer.
>Non Reshade/NVFS/SFX: 120fps with 12-13 frametime (Rendering Latency) >Reshade or NVFS or SFX: 120fps with 18-20 frametime (Rendering Latency). and that's starts showing instantly in-game. Camera movement feels ''heavier'', shooting feels ''heavier'', in other words, you may have 60 or 120 or 240 fps, but everything feels ''slower & heavier'' like you play with a lot lesser actual frames. Do a test: Get in a car/motorcycle, start driving around, Enable/Disable SFX/RS/NVFS filters/shaders, and pay attention down on the road. You can see the difference/delay in milliseconds if you have a good eye. Anyways. You can just use nvidia's ''Adjust desktop color settings''. Play abit with RGB channels and digital vibrance, and there you have your own visual enchantments, without any frametime/rendering latency loss.

Thank you for this. Is it possible to go even further with optimization? Like having an option to get rid of most garbage bags, half of the vending machines, and whatever else clutter that can go?
Well... yes, in theory is possible, but I think is better not messing around with that assets, because I can't select exactly which object eliminate, in a game a bunch of assets must be copy/pasted for the sake of the optimization and not overload the system, may be erase one vending machine or garbage bag could potentially crash the game, bacause they are everywhere and some of the them could be very important (like Brendan), or the piles of garbage that's everywere in the Badlands (may be can cause a visual glitch hole in the floor or we could walk on the thin air because the lack of the model, but the collision is still stays in the world).
Anyway, thanks for give it a chance to my mod. And yes, I still looking to improve and add more things to this mod, so it's possible to I try to optimize the game with other assets with less importance. Regards!!
I'm going to try your two mods (removal of lamps and removal of the flashing arrows). I never even thought about them until I saw your pics with them gone... and now I can't unsee them. I will let you know how it goes!
I've gotta say, it really doesn't seem like much but not seeing those glowing arrows everywhere really helps with, dare i say it, immersion. I also agree with you that not having the overhead lights for billboards seems a bit more high tech, like all the led billboards in Times Square, so that also... helps with immersion. Great job and thank you for posting!
