Sadly it is what it is. ATM of this writing it does work accordingly if there's no conflicts in 1.6 hotfix. It has taken a few attempts and I noticed it will definitely NOT work if there's any mod that changes the parameters for jumping. Before installing dbl check in logs that everything is loading as it should, from there it's a simple drag and drop and enjoy. I love these kinda mods as they allow a level of verticality that no other mod does for controller users.
REDScript compilation failed. The game will start, but none of the scripts will take effect. This is caused by errors in: - hcl_Jumps.reds You can try updating or removing these scripts to resolve the issue. If you need more information consult the logs.
I manually installed this mod, so it's not caused by Vortex! Everything is updated as well, i have no other mods that would conflict with this mod. I also tried installing via Vortex, but i get the same message except it says: This is caused by errors in: - V2077-Infinite jump V1.0-2739-V1-0-1622596489.installing
Legitimately can't run any scripts when this mod is installed, anyone have a fix or an alteration I can make to the code or something? I've been messing around and tweaking the code but nothing has worked so far. Any help would be appreciated
I think that the reason it doesn't work (at least for some people) is that it's not compatible with Vortex out of the box. Your folder hierarchy should only be "r6/scripts/hcl_Jumps.reds" not "HCL_Infinite Jump V1.0/r6/scripts/hcl_Jumps.reds" in order to be deployed by vortex correctly. As it is, Vortex makes a new folder within the steam Cyberpunk directory called "HCL_Infinite Jump V1.0"
Tried your suggestion, but if I use the file directory you posted, I get the following error:
"REDScript compilation failed. The game will start, but none of the scripts will take effect. This is caused by errors in: _HCL_Infinite Jump v1.0. You can try updating or removing these scripts to resolve the issue."
It doesn't work for me at first, but I found out the reason after a few tries. The mod conflicts with "jumpfix.reds" within the mod "Annoy me no more". Annoy Me No More at Cyberpunk 2077 Nexus - Mods and community I deleted the jumpfix.reds then restarted the game and now the mod works perfectly for me. Just as the author said the mod can't work with other mods that will change the jump behavior.

What's worse is, now, the problem with none of my other script mods loading persists even after removing this file.

The mod author needs to update their mod!
